A lot of it was tongue in cheek and as you all seem to agree it was a hoot. Pity it was deleted, but then we should not criticise because those who are in charge have the last say and after all they are there to see to it that all threads are abiding by the recommended standards. I very much enjoyed Dave's posts which were obviously tongue-in-cheek, well written and extremely funny. Unfortunately, I suspect the thread was closed because a few members starting making nasty jibes at the opposite sex which were clearly not tongue-in-cheek. Some of the posts carried personal insults such as calling other members "old bat" and "hag". Some people even went as far as sending nasty private messages to some of the participants in the thread. Quite honestly, I'm surprised it wasn't shut down sooner. My sympathy is with Dave whose thread has been closed down through no fault of his own.
