A number of authors have expressed a lack of spark with quiz-writing over the past little while, so I'd like to try something. For this challenge, we only need to have seven quizzes; one a day for a week. Starting today, I'll post a subcategory on the site and one person needs to submit a quiz in it during that day. If one is not submitted, the challenge will end. If one ends up queued, however, we can all move on to the next one on the following day and so on until next Friday.
If you submit a quiz on day 1 and it goes online first, you may not submit for any of the proceeding days. If yours is not the first online, you may try to be first again the next day until you are the first to count. We should have seven quizzes, one per day, each from a different author.

As long as its submitted, a new subcategory will be posted tomorrow. If your quiz is the first to go online for todays topic, it will bar you from completing any later ones. As a personal goal you could always write more though! Reply #9. Oct 12 12, 4:39 PM |

So does the first one submitted get itself posted (and its author ineligible for others), or the first one online? I still have a few questions to go, and will be able to submit before the deadline, but might change my category to allow a few other interesting questions to be included if it is not required for this challenge to be able to proceed. On the other hand, if I stay in Geography and mine goes on first, Salami would be free to do another category. Unless he's already ineligible because he submitted first. I won't have any more solid quiz-writing days this week, so would not be doing any of the others to come. Whatever, we will still have at least two new Bus Ride quizzes. :D Reply #11. Re: "Would it count if I've already started it (for the quiz meter)?" Yes-- the challenge only asks that you submit within the specific day. If you're concerned and want to submit for another challenge, you could always (tactically) pull your quiz from the queue and save it for later.
