I'm surprised only one other person has mentioned Sophie's Choice - very few movies make me cry but I cried and cried after seeing Sophie's Choice. Reply #164. Aug 30 09, 5:56 AM |

gosh was just about to put same lot as Tezza's above; i also try to stay away from movies with animals, because you just know they're not going to make it (unless you're like lassie or something). Reply #165. Aug 31 09, 2:00 AM |

On the second page of this thread, wahoowa94 mentioned a movie that I will never forget. "Alex: The Life of a Child." I saw this movie years ago. At the very end, Alex is dying, and her older brother is laying with her. As she passes, she sits straight up in bed, and says: "Which way do I go?" The brother hugs her, and cries...OMGosh! It is a true story. Reply #169. Sep 21 09, 8:58 PM |

oops.. to add to that list the first ten minutes of Pixar's "UP!" has to be one the MOST gut wrenchingly sad scenes in movies! *Wife and I could NOT stop crying* Also the end of "Trains, Planes, and Automobiles" when Steve Martin realizes that John Candy's wife is dead and he is All Alone ..gets me every time! The ending of "Somewhere in Time" had me balling. I am a man and rarely show emotion in movies, but that one was a tough one to hold back on. Reply #177. Oct 16 09, 12:01 PM |
