Posted by: Lochalsh 1-"Platoon," a movie about the Vietnam War 2-"Awakenings," a movie about neurological disease 3-"Lady and the Tramp," which needs no tag! I love the ending, where the title pooches have a good-sized litter of pups, all but one of whom resemble their cocker-spaniel mother instead of their mutt-ish dad. Reply #5. I know that I'm a guy. But I would have to say "Beaches" with Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey. The Soundtrack itself was great. Reply #185. Feb 28 10, 2:55 AM |

The other morning I watched a documentary on HBO, so I dont know if you can rightly call it a movie. It was called "Boy Interrupted". About a 15 yr old boy with bi polar disorder that committed suicide. His life is told by his family and friends, along with pictures and video. By the time it was over I was sobbing, literally couldnt stop. Reply #188. Mar 26 10, 10:49 PM |

Definitely, Marley and Me. I saw it a few days after my beloved cat Nikki of 15 years died. Cried all the way home. Reply #193. Jun 14 11, 8:49 PM |

Schindler's List Based on a true story. I didn't quite get the black/white filming until I saw the little girl in the red coat. I have seen it several times and still cry during much of the movie. Reply #197. Jun 23 11, 8:26 PM |

In addition to the movies listed many times in previous posts, here are a few that always manage to get me choked up: "Gigot" - Jackie Gleason wrote the story & music for this touching drama in which he portrayed a mute in France. "Promise" - James Garner, James Woods "Brian's Song" - (1971 version) James Caan, Billy Dee Williams "Powder" - Sean Patrick Flanery, Mary Steenbergen, Jeff Goldblum, Lance Henriksen Reply #200.
