Not the saddest, exactly, but I've never HEARD a theater full of people bawl like I did when I saw 'Life Is Beautiful'. Reply #202. Jul 04 11, 11:23 AM |

Titanic, Marley and Me, and the last Harry Potters. Quite emotional when it comes to fantastic characters dying. :( Reply #203. Aug 02 11, 3:34 PM |

Ya, "Hachi: A Dog's Tale" made me cry a lot. The first half of the movie wasn't sad, but this was one of those movies where you keep crying after the movie is over. However, I'd have to say, hands down, that "Never Let Me Go" was the saddest movie I ever saw. The entire theatre was sobbing (men & women), and the killer was that the entire movie was sad. I thought "The Notebook" was really sad in a happy sort of way (if that makes any sense). It's one of the only movies I've ever cried at anyway. That is why I've only watched it once. Reply #209. Aug 02 11, 6:27 PM |

The original "Wuthering Heights" with Sir Lawrence Oliver and Merle Oberon. Such a sad ending; such wasted lives. Reply #212. May 20 12, 9:31 PM |

'The Pianist' made me sob my heart out. I can't believe nobody posted it here. 'Schindler's List' is also sad but it didn't make me cry. 'The Pianist' had me sobbing into my pillow for two hours. Reply #216. Feb 08 23, 12:40 PM |
