Almost all Alejandro sanz songs do that. Some of them I say had been written for me! Reply #1. Jul 22 09, 12:04 PM |

First one to come to mind is: Skid Row - 18 and Life. I recommend this song highly. Yes, it is metal, but it has some great lyrics. If it doesn't do anything to you inside, then you have no heart. :) Reply #7. Sep 14 09, 8:44 PM |

Apart from the Welsh and Canadian national anthems, I'm going with 'Just the Way You Are' by Billy Joel. That was 'our song' for my late husband and me. Reply #10. Sep 16 09, 3:21 PM |

Don't laugh, but "Bohemian Rhapsody" always affects me. I don't know why. P.S. Anton, I love "18 and Life" too! Reply #11. Sep 16 09, 3:24 PM |

The theme from 'Chariots of Fire.' It's not an actual song, but it always gives me goosebumps to hear it. Reply #12. Sep 16 09, 4:52 PM |

And also the Graduation Song by various artists but mostly the one by Vitamin C because I just graduated from Elementary school, and I had never changed schools until I went into High School. So I miss my elementary school deeply. Reply #14. Sep 16 09, 5:22 PM |

Hallelujah.. but only if it's sung by Leonard Cohen... and about 7 years ago, I was staying in Broome, and we went with a group of people to watch the phenomonen called "Staircase to the Moon". Just before the moon rose, they put all the lights out, and an Elder played the didgeridoo as the moon rose.. still gives me goosebumps thinking about it. If you want to know more about "Staircase to the Moon", here's a link http://www.broomewa.com/cam/StaircasetotheMoon.htm Reply #15. Sep 16 09, 5:38 PM |

On Saturday morning, I was at a convention of Lions Clubs. As Lions was started by an American in 1917, they raised the USA flag, then a young girl sang the USA anthem. I've never heard it sung in real life before - only on TV. Gave me goosebumps in a way the Aussie anthem never has. She had an exquisite voice, which added to the experience. Reply #16. -Nights in White Satin by The Mood Blues, my favorite song of all time. -In the Waiting Line by Zero 7. My favorite modern day song of all time. -The main theme for “Penny Dreadful”… it’s quite a masterpiece. It takes my breath away, and in my mind, I’m flying about 40 seconds into it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JmhK6MHS40 Reply #20. Mar 12 19, 11:38 AM |
