I like most of their music, especially the albums A Night At The Opera and The Game. My favorite songs are "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". Freddie may have been the greatest rock and roll singer ever. Reply #21. Oct 29 14, 12:36 AM |

Don't forget Freddie was the ultimate showman. While there were singers with more vocal range, better timbre and tone and more vocal variety, very few could outclass Freddie in giving his all to the performance. Reply #22. May 26 15, 5:57 PM |

Freddie was a great singer and leader, he could've been an opera singer! Reply #23. Aug 01 15, 1:07 AM |

I always appreciate a chance to say how much I loved Freddy Mercury's voice, his talent and his chutzpah! I recently listened to an album of Queen's performance at LiveAid in 1985 I believe, and I was so impressed by Freddy's medley of the old rock & roll numbers "Hello Mary Lou", I think it was "All Shook Up" and so on. He does a really creditable imitation of Elvis' voice, as evidenced on "Carzy Little Thing Called Love." Go Freddy! Reply #26. Oct 02 15, 8:45 AM |

I was 14 when A Day at the Races came out, and it really made quite an impression on me. I love every song on it, and I can't even say that about a good number of the 20-something albums that my favorite band in the world have released. It will always be my favorite album by Queen, and their music before and after Races was always a big part of my life throughout the rest of my teen years and beyond. They are definitely very high on the list of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. Reply #29. Feb 25 19, 2:12 AM |

Saw the recent film 'Bohemian Rhapsody', excellently done in memory of Freddie and his life story, bittersweet, I have a new appreciation for him since seeing that film. Reply #31. Apr 01 19, 3:12 PM |

I also just saw the film and it was really well done. I did think that in the first half of the film though when he had his hair long the character looked like Mick Jagger in a lot of the shots, especially when you couldn't see the teeth. However on with the hair style changed and moustache it looked more like him. I was not the only one who thought this. Reply #33. Apr 14 19, 12:32 AM |

Just also saw the movie 'Bohemian Rhapsody', very well done I thought. A few inaccuracies but mainly gave a good account of Queen and Freddie's influence on music. He came across as a mixed up character in his personal life but musically he was a genius. Rami Malek deserved the Oscar for sure. Reply #34. Apr 15 19, 4:21 AM |
