I submitted mine last night on Benny Goodman, the "King of Swing". It's my first Celebrities quiz, so hopefully I didn't mess it up too bad.

Ok, so I had a brain fart with the quiz...it's a Music quiz not Celebrities! lol I blame it on trying to eat/drink healthier and I've cut out my daily sweet tea! I'm still working on mine :)

Daily sweet tea? Gosh, I only have it four times a week. :P
Although some days more than one. Then there's my mom.... We always get 4, one for each of the family, but dad doesn't always drink his so she gets two. Delicious, but sometimes it gets old. ;)

From McDonalds, is where we get our sweet tea, but homemade tastes better (but eh, I don't feel like it).

If we go out to eat, I always get sweet tea. I make it at home and I'm the only one that drinks it. Well, my daughter does occasionally. So, that means I usually get some almost every day, and not just a glass either. Several refills at a restaurant and at home a half gallon would last me maybe two days. I don't drink coffee, so sweet tea is like my coffee.

I've been "dieting" so I've been drinking mostly water, with only the occasional sweet tea for the past few weeks. The first week was hard, I had a headache almost everyday.

You have to remember I'm southern :P Sweet tea is very big here. I hate going up north and eating out because they don't have sweet tea most places. Adding sugar at the table just isn't the same.

Adding sugar is definitely not the same.

And what most people around here don't realize is that sweet tea is not a ton of sugar stirred in at the end... I like to boil the water, and steep the tea bags... Add it to a large container of cold water, then boil more water and make a simple syrup. That is far sweeter than any stirred in sugar added later. Unfortunately, those in Colorado don't understand this concept, so most sweet teas aren't that sweet. Only mine is truly sweet tea. :P

All this talk of sweet tea made me thirsty! lol I ended up getting some while I was at the mall.

On another note, now that we've highjacked this thread, I have another quiz in the works for my Celebrities portion of this. I'm not guaranteeing it will make it online before July hits, though. It really depends on when the two quizzes I have finished go online.

I hope to get my current geography quiz online before July, but I won't submit my other randomly written quiz for my own enjoyment until after July... I don't want to get any notes while trying to make sprint quizzes or July challenge quizzes (I would ideally like to participate in each weekly challenge).

Sigh, this wasn't the thread I thought it was, so ignore the post about the geography quiz.... It is no where near related to this challenge. :P

In other news, Chocolate Vault now serving sweet tea. And sweet tea filled chocolates.

I've just been catching up with this, and reading about sweet tea. It sounds awful to me, possibly because I don't like sugar and I loathe tea. The water bit sounds OK though.

Chocolate and sweet tea. Yum.

Not together, mind you.
