I enjoy a wide array of music but I listen to metal the most all kinds heavy, power, speed, death, black, thrash, doom, sludge, progressive, folk, experimental and many combinations of them. I never imagined you as a death metal fan boxjaw. Are you into straight up death like Cannibal Corpse or Carcass or are you into the more technically oriented stuff like Death, Nile, or Athiest? Baroque choral music, first and foremost (Bach, Sweelinck)... Then avant-garde electronic (Tangerine Dream and Popol Vuh) and finally grindcore/extreme metal (Carcass, Napalm Death and the like) Reply #8. Aug 15 12, 12:57 PM |

I think Boxjaw's more a fan of Fab Four death metal...maybe "Helter Skelter". Me, I like classic rock, late 80s/90s rock (which I guess is classic rock by now), authentic country (new and old), soul, r& B, funk, old school rap/hip hop, and...I guess that's it. I know enough to appreciate other types of music than those but I can't get excited about them. Reply #9. Aug 16 12, 10:55 PM |

I'm a big fan of the indie genre. Indie rock, pop, folk and even some indie electronic. Lots of these musicians don't play for the money, they play for the sheer enjoyment of music or to tell stories or whatever, and you can see the difference. Some of them don't even want to be famous! I'm also a fan of alternative music in general. Reply #12. Aug 20 12, 3:54 AM |

Blues, classic rock, folk, old country (before the 1980's) and more blues. If you haven't heard Muddy Waters or Howlin' Wolf, check them out. You'll be glad you did. Reply #14. Sep 30 12, 10:47 PM |

I don't think there is anything nicer than the music of the Shadows and their wonderful guitars. Much nicer than the rubbish we have pushed down our throats these days. No wonder a lot of younger people have ear problems. Reply #18. Mar 22 14, 2:06 AM |
