Accidentally put this on album titles thread...

Mister Potato Head 70's tv ad/commercial theme. Does this count as a great song title? Here are the lyrics as I remember it...

"First you build his body, then you build his hands. Put his tiny shoes on and see how straight he stands. A mouth for him to smile with, a nose and eyes of blue. Little Mister Potato Head, he's there to play with you."

I may have got a word or two wrong there.

After building this little potato man, nothing much happened afterwards. He didn't speak, didn't walk, didn't do much at all really. Some playmate he was!!

Does anybody remember this?

I remember Mr. Potato Head. One of the first rock and roll outlaws I ever knew. I mean he was one insane, boss-rockin' outlaw.

How about that little Slinky jingle? You guys remember that?

It's Slinky, it's Slinky, for fun it's a wonderful toy
It's Slinky, it's Slinky, it's fun for a girl or a boy
It's fun for a girl or a boy

Man, that rocked! Then how about Ants in the Pants, yo?

You just flip them through the air
Ants, ants, ANTS!
They're flying everywhere
FLIP, FLIP, FLIP!

I wish I could remember the rest of that, there has to be more. I'm gonna see about Googling that stuff up after I post this.

In the meantime, I would like to offer the Nugetastic Nugacity of.......

Wang Dang Sweet Poontang by Atrocious Theodocious aka Ted Nugent

Do this one up from Double Live Gonzo and you will get a birdseye view of the Promised Land. Yes, Lawd! Hallelujah, yo! :-)

I know both jingles, but don't remember them.

With the first Mr. Potato Head, didn't he come without the potato? I would think getting to play with a raw potato and then watching it turn brown after sticking all those pieces and parts into it might be great fun. But, I'm easily amused.

If Silly Putty doesn't have a theme song, it should.

And speaking of Ted, I'm going with...

"Stranglehold" -- Ted Nugent

Can't believe I mixed up two Sabbath titles.

Should be National Acrobat or Spiral Architect or both.

Suggested by Sectant that i put it here ,I'm In Love With The Girl On The Manchester Virgin Megastore Check-Out Desk - The Freshies or I'm In Love With The Girl On A Certain Manchester Megastore Check-out Desk because the BBC wouldn't play the original version because of advertising.
