A gas leak blew up their old dorms.. Dave, Mike and Roger were in class when they learned that their dorm had been blown up in a gas explosion. Dave and Roger managed to find a new place and Mike moved in with them not long after. See the “It all started when…” storyline.
U. Mike’s shirt had a U on it until it was destroyed in the “Fabric Eating Bugs” storyline. After that, Mike wore a plain green shirt.
In the bathtub. The apartment only has two beds so when Mike moved in, Roger ended up sleeping in the bathtub. It is one of the unique quirks that make up Rogers' very interesting character. See the “Sleeping in the Tub” storyline.
Pepe. A cute name for a cute stuffed animal. Pepe was introduced in the “Sleeping in the Tub” storyline. Pepe is a Spanish form of the word, Joseph, which means 'God will increase'.
Time to die, nerd-boy.. This card goes to show that under her rough, gun-toting exterior, Margaret doesn’t have a sensitive side. Check out the “The Neighbors” storyline.
Bees. Deathly allergic. According to Dave in the “Assisted Suicide” storyline, "If I get stung, I'm gonna swell up like a toad, then choke to death."
He spent all his food money on clothes. Of course, Roger dressing up in a chicken suit and dancing around with maracas might have played a role.
Worshippers of Satan. When Mike tried to move in with them, after the old dorms got blown up, in “The Whole Freakin’ Fauna” they tried to make him given blood for their satanic ritual. They are also partly responsible for David’s brief time in Hell and half his soul getting stuck in a cat, which happened in the “Mushrooms from Hell” storyline.
All of the these ways (Got run over, Thrown out the window by Mike, Stolen by a little girl). First, Pepe was thrown out the window by Mike. Pepe landed in the street and was run over by an 18-wheeler. Finally, he was found by a little girl and taken away. This all happened in the "Assisted Suicide" and "Mr. Hand" storylines.
Mr. Hand. After the loss of his beloved Pepe, Roger lost what was left of his sanity. Mr. Hand was drawn on his left hand. It started out as normal Roger weirdness until the hand became an entity all on its own with a desire to murder the roomies and take over the world. Check out the "Mr. Hand" and "Mr. Hand Strikes Back" storylines.
