However, Undertaker made a triumphant return, disposing of De-Generation X and both chokeslamming and tombstoning Triple H. The Heartbreak Kid only saw the Undertaker interfering, which gave Triple H a disqualification fall and the match, proclaiming a new WWE Champion.

A ladder match, the winners Matt and Jeff Hardy.. The ladder match at 'No Mercy' is widely reflected on as the match that made the four young wrestlers into Superstars. Matt and Jeff Hardy, announced as the Brood, won the match after Jeff was knocked onto Edge's ladder and grabbed a bag of $100 000 hanging from the rafters. Both teams set records, only two being the first ever then-WWF tag-team ladder match, and another being the first ladder match to get a standing ovation 24-hours later on 'Raw' is War.

Number four was the Matt Hardy/Lita that happened after a Lita/Dean Malenko match. Next was Vince McMahon forced by the Rock to kiss Rikishi's butt after a Rock Bottom. Two was the Rock and Trish kiss that never really did anything beside set up one measly inter-gender handicap tag match. And last was Kurt Angle's kiss to his gold medals after retrieving them from Chris Benoit's wrestling trunks.

2-Kane, Big Show. Hurricane's official finishing move is the 'Eye of the Hurricane', although on Smackdown! broadcasts the announcers say that the 'Overcast' is Hurricane's finisher.
The Undertaker's official finisher is the Last Ride. The Last Ride replaced the Tombstone Piledriver, a move that was both banned and given up due to injuries sustained. However, the move has made occasional appearances, such as in the Rock/Undertaker feud, where the Undertaker Tombstoned the Rock into a limo, and in the 'Wrestlemania' no-DQ match against Ric Flair.

Macho Man Randy Savage. Randy Savage was the winner of the tournament. Earlier in the tourny, Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant were both disqualified, leaving DiBiase with no contender and a guarantee in the final match. Randy Savage was no match for both DiBiase and Andre, standing at ringside, so he sent his wife Elizabeth on a walk to the back to get none other than Hulk Hogan.
