Dorothy of Oz
No. Mara is the only one who can see the road. Everyone else follows her. There is a legend in Oz of a girl named Dorothy who would lead the citizens of Oz down the Yellow Brick road and to their dreams.
The Seven Dwarves. Funnily enough, the seven dwarves now live in the mining mountains of Oz. They take Tick Tock for her spare parts to sell and Mara so that she can cook and clean after them. Mara gets angry, drunk, and uses advanced magic to attack them for it.
A gun. The gun was the south's latest and greatest new weapon. Mara is only one of the few who knows what it does. Tick Tock was surprised when she realized how much Mara knew about it,
Bats. Abee freaks out when he sees them in the cave and uses his power to get rid of them. Unfortunately, this also allows Tick Tock to awaken.
Namu. Number 50 is gone. Namu was hit with it and his memory database was ruined. This makes it better since Namu was ordered by the Witch of the South to capture Mara.
Yes. She plans to use the powers of Thunder magic to knock a tree down for them to cross. However, she used too much power and made the tree explode. Fortunately, some of the rocks from the opposite shore were thrown from the blast, making great stepping stones across.
Abee. After Number 50 gets his butt kicked by Number 3, Abee remembers how to use his powers even more. His power becomes even greater than that of Number 3's. Number 3 escapes with his life, but he was not unshaken by the height of Abee's abilities.
Number 3. The Witch of the West sends Number 3 to dispose of Gale since he is to take over the east now that Selluriah is dead. By killing Gale, it leaves the east open for her to take over. However, Number 3 leaves to fight Number 50 and Abee, thus allowing a mysterious figure to save Gale.
Number 50 helps them. Number 50 is now targeted for extermination for failing his mission to capture Abee. Since he is a deserter, he decides to work together with Mara and Abee to get away.
Number 50. Number 50 finds them. He is a captain in the West's clone army. He is different since he has a ponytail and more advanced power. However, he is jealous since Abee has his own name and not an assigned number.
Her shoes. Abee's feet are bare so he can't run as far as Mara could. Mara stops in a barn to let Abee rest his feet, then decides to give him her old shoes (since she has the boots). She is surprised that her shoes fit him.
Huhsuabee. Huhsuabee is Korean for Scarecrow. Mara thought Huhsuabee was too long of a name so she shortened it to Abee.
Abee is a clone from the west. Frog was already dead. Mara never found out that Indigo died. She also hasn't learned that Gale is Selluriah's brother. Gale does say that Abee is a weapon from the west and one of many clones. It was Abee's other clone counterparts that killed Selluriah.
Poison. Assassins created by the Witch of the West were ordered to kill Selluriah. One stabbed her with a poisoned blade. The wound was deep, but not enough to kill her. What killed her was the poison on the assassin's sword. Selluriah's dying wish was for Mara to take her magic boots and to return home safely. Even though Selluriah was the Witch of the East, she seems not to be wicked in the least.
The Wizard of Oz. Mara found the glove ten years ago, the same time that the Wizard of Oz lost it. Selluriah and the other three witches attacked the Wizard at the same time to overthrow him after they realized his glove was lost. Sadly, all three were badly defeated by him.
While transforming, you become naked. Selluriah likes the attention she gets from the men when she transforms, but Mara is always embarrassed when she does it. Unfortunately, whenever Mara changes, someone always barges in last minute and sees her.
They turn the wearer into a powerful witch. Unlike in "The Wizard of Oz", the boots do not help with transportation home. Instead, the boots make the wearer become ten years older and a powerful witch.
Dark and light orange. The first few pages in the books are colored. You get a good view of Selluriah wearing her boots, sitting on a railing.
No. Indigo reveals this when Mara is eating the rations. She complains about the food being bland and asks for salt. She is confused when he shows her big rocks of salt. She tells him the only salt she had ever seen is from the sea. Indigo tells her Oz has no sea.
Indigo. Indigo is like the personal assistant/guardian of Selluriah. Once Mara begins staying with Selluriah, Selluriah assigns Indigo to watch over her.
Seoul. She lives in Seoul, South Korea. It was through a creepy ally way in Seoul that she was led to Oz.
Tail. Tail has on more than one occasion gotten the team lost. When they reach a fork in the road, Mara tells the team to go right. Tail offers a "better" direction but all three refuse to listen to him. After being reminded of the cannibal monkeys, Tail agrees to go right.
Special Agent Shine. Special Agent Shine was ordered by the Wizard of Oz to investigate Lieutenant Pillanin who is the head of area D-32. Pillanin turned the members of the town into his own private monster army. To get rid of evidence and to turn Mara against Oz, Shine killed them instead of helping them.
D-32 Brick Village. The gang decide to stop in area D-32 at a small town called Brick Village after Tail complains about food. You notice the name of the town when they see the sign. It is in Korean, but underneath in a small box is the English translation.
Destroy Oz. After Shine breaks the promise he made to Mara, he awaits to evoke her wrath. Mara is instantly unable to forgive Shine for what he did. In the background, Shine says that he plans to make Mara and the others crazy so that they destroy Oz.
Her glasses. In fact, all the others make her look older. Selluriah is upset when Mara calls her "Auntie" when earlier she was calling her "girl". Finally, when Selluriah puts on her glasses again, Mara is able to recognize her.
Her school shirt and her panties. Mara is very unlucky when it comes to people seeing what they shouldn't. Every time she is in an inappropriate situation like that, it seems everyone gets a good look at her. Mara's school uniform has a skirt, not pants.
1.35 times faster. Namu, being the Tin Man, is easily able to calculate how fast Shine moves when he attacks Pillanin. All are awed by how fast he goes, already saying he is faster than Namu who confirms it by saying he is moving 1.35 times faster than he can.
Telekinesis. All of the clones have the ability to use telekinesis. Usually, the higher the number assigned to them is, the more intelligent and more powerful they are. Abee is the only clone among them who seems to have been assigned a code name instead of a number.
She was carrying a fruit basket. Mara did ask him to stop her, but he refused. Once Mara mentioned she had food, Tail went in hot pursuit to get her fruit basket.
Home to watch TV. She was running late for school earlier that day when she saw the Yellow Brick Road, but she didn't go down until after school. She was in a rush to get home and watch the final episode of a popular TV show. However, Toto made her journey take a "yellow" turn.
