Babylon 5 Universe : Season 3
('Convictions') What does Lennier say when Delenn tells him he'll probably get a medal from the Centaurum for saving Londo's life? | 'Babylon 5' Season 3
|
'I should have stayed in the coma.'. His 'coma' was achieved by making a dummy to replace Bill Mumy while Bill was away taking care of much more important business. Andreas Katsulas commented on how still Bill was being during the filming and no one had the heart to tell him about the dummy.
Brakiri space. This attack has some very serious backlash.
David MacIntyre. Okay. Okay. I know. Arthur Pendragon is the legendary King Arthur's name. But, we're talking about the guy in the episode.
('Messages From Earth') What did Mary Kirkish see on Mars 7 years previous to this episode? | 'Babylon 5' Season 3
|
A Shadow Ship. And she's the only one still free of all the rest of her team who found the ship. The others are dead.

('Point of No Return') What race is the person Londo stops in the hall at the start of this episode? | 'Babylon 5' Season 3
|
Minbari. Yes. I know. How many people notice such things. That would be me. I figured a couple harder questions would make this more fun.
She's a prophetess. (A seer). Another special thing about her is the person who portrayed her. Majel Barrett (Rodenberry) from Star Trek. Star Trek: Next Generation. Star Trek: Voyager (Computer voice). Star Trek: Deep Space 9.
Flarn. Also known as Flarn ala Sheridan, it is very lacking in the spice category.
('A Day In the Strife') Why is Dr. Franklin having such a hard time getting medical information from the Llort patient? | 'Babylon 5' Season 3
|
There isn't a translator available.
G'kar. One of G'kar's more moving speeches, I think.
('Voices of Authority') Why does Ms. Musante say Sheridan must be good at negotiations? | 'Babylon 5' Season 3
|
He knows so many ways to say no to a simple proposition. Considering the proposition she was giving him, I think he must be pretty good at negotiations, too. Though I like to think he was starting to fall in love with Delenn and so had a good way to resist.
('Severed Dreams') Who does Londo describe as 'Very inefficient. You have to keep an eye on them at all times.'? | 'Babylon 5' Season 3
|
The Narn. He really needs to work on his timing. After all, a little effort and he'd never said that BEFORE being checked in by a Narn.
Nothing. She's nude.. She was having a nightmare of walking into C-n-C naked.
He wants in.. He tells Londo in the fourth season about freeing Narn. This episode, he just wants in on what's going on between Delenn and the Command crew.
Garibaldi receives a call on his link from Ivanova. She uses a code that only members of their little conspiracy would know. What was the code? | 3.05 "Voices of Authority"
|
7 R. Zack, who is still a member of Nightwatch, becomes very suspicious when Garibaldi sidesteps the meaning of the code.
Ministry of Peace. Musante has been assigned to Babylon 5 as Sheridan's new political officer. She says that she is from the Ministry of Peace, Nightwatch Division.
Ivanova. Sheridan, occupied with Musante, askes Ivanova to meet Draal in his place. Draal: "I asked for Captain Sheridan." Ivanova: "He's busy." Draal: "I don't like surprises." Ivanova: "Really? I love them myself. I mean, to me everything is a surprise. You're a surprise, this place is a surprise. You see this? Paper-cut, hurts like hell. Anybody else would be upset, but to me it's just one more wonderful surprise. I mean, I even surprise myself sometimes. Now, I guess there's nothing wrong with me surprising you? Right?" Draal: "Hahhahaha. I like you. You're trouble." Ivanova: "Well, thank you. It's the nicest thing anybody has said about me in days."
Zen Garden. Musante, reminiscent of Orwell's book '1984', explains the wonderful advancements on Earth in a dinner meeting with Sheridan at the Fresh Air Restaurant at 1900 hours. She originally meets with Sheridan in his office and then tries to seduce him in his quarters.
Draal gives his visitor permission to use the matrix of the Great Machine to gather information about the First Ones. Why doesn't the visitor get in right away? | 3.05 "Voices of Authority"
|
Draal is still connected.. Ivanova and Draal's hologram arrive at the heart of the great machine. Draal: "Well, here we are. If you'll just plug yourself into the matrix, we'll take it from there." Ivanova: "It's, um, occupied." Draal: "Hmm? Oh, yes, of course, my mistake. I spend so much time out of my body, I sometimes forget where it is. If you'll excuse me...It will only take a moment to disentangle myself. Hmm, I must remember to dust myself once in a while."
Person1: "I can't leave without an explanation. She'll be all over me." Person2: "It looks to me like she's already all over you." Who is Person2? | 3.05 "Voices of Authority"
|
Ivanova. Ivanova pops into Sheridan's quarters using Draal's holographic projection system, only to find a naked Musante trying to seduce Sheridan. Sheridan kisses Musante to give Ivanova a chance to get out. He excuses himself for a second to talk to Ivanova. She explains that to catch the First Ones they have to leave now. They exchange the above lines. Ivanova concludes saying, "Good luck, Captain. I think you are about to go where everyone has gone before."
Finish the quote: Ivanova: "This also tells they understand our language. They are just not willing to speak to us using that." Marcus: "Who knew they were _______?" | 3.05 "Voices of Authority"
|
French. Marcus and Ivanova take the White Star in search of the First Ones. They have a difficult time opening up communication with the First Ones at Sigma 957. Marcus: "I think you just hit a nerve. Vorlons must owe them money or something." Ivanova: "This also tells they understand our language. They are just not willing to speak to us using that." Marcus: "Who knew they were French?"
The First Ones respond to Ivanova's request for aid with one untranslated alien word. What was that word? | 3.05 "Voices of Authority"
|
Zog. This is a brilliant exchange between Marcus and Ivanova. Ivanova: "Zog? What do you mean zog? Zog what? Zog yes, zog no?" Marcus: "It's leaving. My guess is zog means no." Ivanova: "Like hell. I am not letting them leave here without saying yes." Marcus: "Really? And how do you propose stopping them? Perhaps a big red and white sign with the word 'Stop' on it? I'll put a bucket on my head and pretend to be the ancient Vorlon god Booji." Ivanova: "That's it!" Marcus: "Fine, I'll get a bucket." Ivanova: "No I meant the Vorlons. Open a comm channel now."
The Book of G'Quan. G'Kar is one smart cookie. He has noticed the odd behavior of most of the characters and wants to do something. G'Kar: "I told you I could help. The Book of G'Quan. Read it. We'll talk after." Garibaldi: "I don't read Narn!" G'Kar: "Learn!" Garibaldi: "He hates me. They all hate me. That's why they're doing this. To make me crazy."
G'Kar talks to Garibaldi about his observations of secret meetings, but who does G'Kar go to first with his suspicions? | 3.05 "Voices of Authority"
|
Delenn. G'Kar confronts Delenn. G'Kar: "You see, I've noticed that you've been spending quite a bit of time in closed meetings with Captain Sheridan. One might almost get the impression that, uh, something was, uh, up?" Delenn: "Just the usual diplomatic exchanges between our two governments." G'Kar: "Ah, yes, of course, of course. Why, as I'm no longer on the Council, I suppose I've forgotten how to tell the difference between a political session and a private meeting. I heard an interesting word the other day, a word I hadn't encountered before." Delenn: "I am pleased to hear that you are continuing to expand your frame of reference, G'Kar." G'Kar: "What do you know about Rangers?" Delenn: "Nothing. Why? Should I?" G'Kar: "Well, it's a curious thing, Delenn. My contacts have mentioned the word to me from time to time and sometimes they are speaking of a human and sometimes they are speaking of a Minbari. If one didn't know any better, one might conclude that these humans and Minbari are both part of the same organization. But that seems extremely unlikely, does it not, Delenn?" Delenn: "Yes, extremely." And then Delenn just walks off.
The conspirators discover an old transmission stored in the Great Machine that shows Clark and an unseen person conspiring to kill President Santiago. Who was the other person? | 3.05 "Voices of Authority"
|
Morden. Here is the record of the transmission. Clark: "I've wanted Santiago dead for so long. I wasn't sure we could really pull it off. You're sure it's done?" Morden (not shown): "Earth Force One will never return from Io. The power is now yours, Clark, Mr. President." This is some of the first evidence that Clark's regime has aligned itself with the Shadows, although Sheridan, et al. are not aware of the connection yet.
1. Once the footage showing Clark planning the assassination is released, Musante is recalled to Earth and we never see her again. Musante: "Damage control is a great waste of time, effort, and resources, Mr. Allan, but sooner or later we'll find whoever is responsible for this outrage, and they'll be punished, severely, publicly, and permanently."
"Mind War". Catherine Sakai was hired to survey Sigma 957 in "Mind War". She was warned of an ancient race by G'Kar. G'Kar: "There are things in the universe billions of years older than either of our races. They are vast, timeless, and if they are aware of us at all, it is as little more than ants, and we have as much chance of communicating with them as the ant has with us. We know, we've tried. And we've learned that we can either stay out from underfoot or get stepped on." Sakai: "That's it? That's all you know." G'Kar: "Yes. They are a mystery, and I am both terrified and reassured to know there are still wonders in the universe, and that we have not yet explained everything. Whatever they are, Miss Sakai, they walk near Sigma 957, and they must walk there alone."
Adira Tyree. We first met Adira in the first season episode, "Born to the Purple".
Vir: "Londo, you wanted to see me?"
Londo: "Yes, Vir! ... Now, Vir! I want you to rent a suite for me. The biggest suite in all of Babylon 5! And I want it filled with flowers!"
Vir: "It'll cost!"
Londo: "Pay it! Nothing is too good for her!"
Vir: "Her? Her who?"
Londo: "Adira! After all this time, she is finally coming back to me!"
Garibaldi. Franklin: "I gotta get back to work."
Garibaldi: "I thought your shift ended half an hour ago."
Franklin: "Well, it did! But, uh, since we're short-handed, and I can handle it..."
Garibaldi: "I don't think so."
Franklin: "Excuse me?"
Garibaldi: "I don't think you can handle it! I don't think you are handling it! Look, I saw how you were this afternoon in Medlab."
Franklin: "Well it was busy, I lost my temper!"
Garibaldi: "No, you were five seconds away from hysteria! You were crazed and distracted, and it nearly cost you the life of one of your patients!"
Franklin: "Look, it came out all right!"
Garibaldi: "This time! What about next time?"
Franklin: "Look, I don't have to defend myself to you!"
Garibaldi: "I think you do! Something here ain't right, Stephen! As your friend, I'm concerned! As the head of security..."
Franklin: "Yeah, what're you gonna do, Michael? Arrest me for being distracted? I didn't know that was a crime! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get dressed and get back to work!"
Garibaldi: "Hey, Stephen, wake up! For the last six months, you've been acting more and more erratic! Now, it's not just me! Everybody's noticed! Look, if it's the stims, again, I can help!"
Franklin: "Would you just give it a rest? You've been riding my butt about stims all year! Enough! I don't want to talk about it anymore!
Garibaldi: "Don't make me go around you to do my job!"
Franklin: "You do whatever you have to, Michael! I don't care! I am tired of this discussion, and I'm tired of you butting into my life every fifteen minutes! So you do your job and I'll do mine! Okay?"
Garibaldi: "Okay, fine. Just remember I came to you first. I gave you a chance. Hell of a lot more than you're giving me!"
"Short of dying?". Morden: "Hello, Vir!"
Vir: "I'm sorry. I can't talk, I have things to do."
Morden: "Well, apparently so! Anything I can do to help?
Vir: "Um, short of dying? No, can't think of a thing!"
