Mr Rottweiler. Mr Rottweiler was played by the late Brian Glover. As well as being an eminently recognisable British actor, Brian Glover's diverse career included a stint as a professional wrestler in the late 1970s. He supplied the voice for the "Gaffer" in the long-running Tetley tea adverts for many years, and also had roles in "An American Werewolf in London" and "Alien III".

Leonard Rossiter. In fact it is so bad that all the diners in the hotel restaurant, where he does the impression, leave. The boys are staying at the Marveloso Splendido Hotel, Wolverhampton, after having stolen Cannonball Taffy O'Jones's honeymoon tickets. Eddie has to dress as a woman and be known as "Edwina" for the ruse to work.

Forging Money. Eddie's plans for a life of riches fail, however, due to the fact that his forged money includes such items as £27 notes, and also because he has dispensed with the image of the Queen on some notes, in favour of celebrities in questionable situations.

Helen Lederer. When the boys join a video dating agency, Richie pretends that he is an Earl. The agency arranges a date for him and Eddie has to pose as his butler, Jives. Not one of the better episodes, this.

Chess. With the television (apparently) repossessed, the lads decide to have an evening of culture (Richie wears his coat inside out, to make it look like a smoking jacket), cocktails (Pernod, ouzo, marmalade and salt), and chess.

Miss China. Yes, Miss China, at odds of 1000-1. Eddie later confesses that he did not put the bet on, but just pretended he had in order that Richie would insist they watch Miss World. He actually spent the money on a slap-up meal for himself.

The Prime Minister. They try to blackmail the Prime Minister (when this episode was originally aired, John Major was the Prime Minister), but end up with their flat surrounded by special forces. They end up being gunned down in a hail of bullets (akin to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid).
Even though this was the last ever episode, it was not the end. Richie and Eddie live on in special video releases and nationwide theatre tours of "Bottom Live!".

Jesus. Richie challenges the Grim Reaper (Eddie in disguise) to a game of "I Spy" to save his soul. Richie chooses "scythe", but Eddie insists that "scythe" starts with a "c". When Richie points to it in the disctionary and spells out S-C-Y-T-H-E, Eddie says "that's zither".

Madame Swish. Dave Hedgehog is a friend of Eddie's. Richie breaks both legs in this episode. The episode begins with Richie pretending he has received birthday cards from Abba, "all the lads on the Ark Royal", and the people of the Soviet Union "with grateful thanks to Comrade Richie". They are the same cards he sends to himself EVERY year!

Shop. Of course, it ends in disaster. Richie insults and threatens the customers (one being a doctor played by the late, great John Wells) and then both Richie and Eddie desert their posts to go and sunbathe on the roof. The shop ends up being ransacked and looted.
