    LOST: Season 6

    In the final scene of part one, how does John Locke disembark the plane?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      He is carried way in a wheelchair.. In a very poignant moment, John is seen being assisted by airline personnel onto a wheelchair. John is unable to conceal his dismay. As Jack retrieves his own carry-on luggage, he glances back to see John. John returns an obliging look with a reluctant smile.

    As a plane makes its landing onto the Los Angeles airway, someone can be seen being arrested. Who is being taken away in handcuffs?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Charlie. The stern marshals are seen escorting Charlie from the plane, purportedly for using drugs upon the aircraft. Charlie looks at Jack somewhat disdainfully, as it was Charlie's wish that he die upon the plane.

    Sawyer is furious at Jack for having miscalculated the results of his plan. In his fury, he lashes out at Jack. However, Kate hears muted voices coming from the shaft. Is Juliet still alive?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Yes. When Kate notes a voice crying out for help from the shaft. A rescue effort is underway. A beam is removed from the top of the shaft and Sawyer makes his way to the bottom. He discovers Juliet grasping for life at the bottom. However, Juliet appears to die in the arms of a loving Sawyer. Sawyer carries to the precipice of the shaft and declares to Jack, "You did this."

    Angered by the apparent treachery of Ben, the companions of Ilana drag Ben back into the temple. They confront the impersonate of John and demand an explanation. Unsatisfied with the explanation from the impersonate, they fire upon him. What happens next?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Jacob's protectors are killed by the smoke monster.. The guardians of Jacob are angered by the response from the impersonate of John. In anger, they fire upon him, but he apparently escapes without harm. Further, the inscrutable smoke monster is unleashed and savagely kills all of the party. Ben is spared. In the aftermath, the John impersonate tells Ben, "I'm sorry you had to see me like that."

    A doctor is requested on the flight. Jack responds. There is someone in the bathroom who needs medical attention. Who is in the bathroom?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Charlie. Sayid provides assistance by breaking down the door to the bathroom. Jack encounters the patient, who is not breathing. Ultimately, Jack removes an obstruction from Charlie's pathway. It appears to be a package of some sort. Upon removal, Charlie begins to breathe again.

    We find ourselves back in the domain of Jacob. It seems that Jacob's corpse has been thrust in the fire. The entity that has been impersonating John has instructed Ben to talk to whom?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Richard. John's impersonate instructs Ben to request an audience with Richard. Reluctantly, Ben agrees, exits the chamber and seeks Richard. Before Richard can address Ilana's question about who happens to be in charge, Ben appears. Richard demands to know what happened inside the chamber. Ben's response inspires Richard's anger. Richard then drags Ben to the apparent corpse of John.

    Again, in an alternate time frame, Hurley can be seen attending to Sayid, who happens to be severely wounded. A noise emanates from the surrounding forest. Who appears before Hurley?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Jacob. Jacob has something to say to Hurley. Jacob asks Hurley, "You got a minute?" Jacob leads Hurley to the dying body of Sayid, saying that Hurley must save Sayid. Hurley is as yet unconvinced and tells Jacob that his friend will arrive at any minute. Jacob pronounces that Hurley's friend will not be able to see him. Curious, Hurley asks why. Jacob says, "I died an hour ago." Hurley replies, "Sorry Dude, that sucks."

    In another universe, there happens to be something particularly different about Hurley. What is that characteristic?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Hurley is extraordinarily lucky.. Aboard a plane, our old friend Arzt is asking Hurley for a demonstration of his skills at impersonation. Hurley obliges by saying, "Oy, have a cluckety-cluck day mate!" Sawyer happens to be sitting next to Hurley and offers some advice about revealing information. Hurley is supremely confident that nothing will happen to him. Hurley explains, "Nothing bad ever happens to me. I'm the luckiest guy alive."

    In what appears to be an alternate universe of what may have occurred after Juliet's action, someone can be seen high atop some trees in the jungle. Who is it?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Kate. Kate can be seen in the tree tops of the jungle, apparently struggling with her hearing, which happens to be a symptom being so close to the explosion. She descends from the tree and encounters Miles.

    The very first opening scene shows us the events which transpired up to the event in which Juliet appears to have successfully detonated the device. The scene illuminates in white. Where is Jack after this apparent transformation?"Lost" 6.01- "LA X" Part 1

      Jack can be seen observing the view from his window seat aboard the plane.. Jack is aboard a flight. He appears bewildered. The circumstances are very near his original flight aboard Oceanic 815, yet not entirely the same. Adjacent to Jack sits Rose, who calmly gives Jack reassuring advice during the turbulence.

    As fireworks emanate throughout the sky, a very confident John impersonate walks brusquely toward Richard. After his greeting, "Hello, Richard," What does this commanding figure say to Richard?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      "It's good to see you out of those chains.". As the entity impersonating John approaches Richard, Richard orders those brandishing weapons to hold their fire. Frank tells Sun, "I'm seein' it, but I'm still not believin' it." The John figure strides up to Richard and says, "It's good to see you out of those chains." Richard gapes at the figure in astonishment and declares, "You?" The John impostor replies, "Me!," thereupon striking Richard and rendering him unconscious. After telling the crowd, "I'm very disappointed in all of you," he lifts Richard onto his shoulder and walks away.

    Inside the statue, the John impersonate is cleaning up the array of bodies. A pitiable Ben laments his fate at being a helpless pawn in the scheme to destroy Jacob. After the John impersonate regales Ben with the tale of the true John, Ben is supremely curious and asks, "What do you want?" What is the reply?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      "I want to go home.". The impersonate of John Locke appears to derive a great deal of pleasure in recounting the tragic demise of the true John Locke. He tells Ben that John Locke was, "weak and pathetic and irreparably broken." Even so, the impersonate continues to say that John Locke was the only one that did not want to leave the island. In reply to Ben's question, the impersonate sinisterly answers, "Well, that's the great irony here, Ben, because I want the one thing that John Locke didn't. I want to go home!"

    Hurley is brought before the leader of the temple folks. Through the interpreter, the leader wants to know what Jacob has told Hurley. Suddenly, Hurley notices something peculiar about the language interchange. Can the leader, in fact, speak English?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      Yes. Hurley astutely notices that the leader doesn't require an interpretation from Hurley. Hurley says, "Wait a sec. You're not translating anything I say to him, which means you totally understand me dude." The leader indignantly replies, "I don't like the way English tastes on my tongue."

    Kate is deftly making her way through the airport in an attempt to escape from the marshall. Her first attempt to grab a taxi is thwarted by Neil, who tells her, "There's a line!" Having been spotted by the marshall, Kate jumps into an occupied taxi. Who is the other passenger?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      Claire. Kate has been very fortunate to have made it outside of the terminal to the taxi stand. Neil (Frogurt) denies Kate entry into the first cab. Suddenly, Kate is spotted by the marshall who begins pursuit. Kate gets into the nearest cab. The driver says, "Hey, I already have a customer." Kate points her gun at the driver and says, "I said go!" Claire is already sitting in the passenger seat. She asks Kate, "What are you doing?"

    The people at the temple transport Sayid to a place within it where a healing spring lies. There appears to be something not quite right about the waters of the spring. Are the attempts to resurrect Sayid immediately successful?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      No. Before Sayid's body is immersed in the swirling waters of the spring, the interpreter warns that there are risks involved in the procedure. Not really knowing exactly what is going on, Jack replies, "Do what you have to do." Being held underwater, Sayid begins to thrash around. Jack protests that they are holding Sayid underwater for too long of a period. Ultimately, Sayid's apparently lifeless body is brought to the surface. The temple leader proclaims through his interpreter that, "Your friend is dead."

    Hurley and his party have been captured by the Others at the temple. The leader, speaking through an interpreter, gives instructions for Hurley and his party to be shot. Hurley blurts out, "Jacob sent us." The leader demands proof. What proof does Hurley offer?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      Hurley asks the leader to look inside the guitar case.. Hurley asks the leader of these people to examine the contents of the guitar case. Upon opening the case, Jacob's Ankh cross is revealed. The leader suddenly breaks the cross in half and extracts a scroll. The leader thereupon demands to know the names of the party. Apparently satisfied, the leader begins to enter the temple. Frantically, Hurley demands to know what has been written on the scroll. The leader's interpreter says, "That paper says that if your friend over there dies, we're all in a lot of trouble."

    Accompanied by Miles, Sawyer finishes burying Juliet. Sawyer has requested that Miles come along specifically for his spiritual abilities. Sawyer compels Miles to communicate with Juliet. According to Miles, what did Juliet want to tell Sawyer?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      "It worked.". With a great deal of reluctance, Miles agrees to perform his spiritual ritual upon Juliet. Finally, he tells Sawyer, "It worked. That's what she wanted to tell you. It worked." Sawyer is puzzled and wonders, "What worked?" Clearly unsatisfied, Sawyer walks away.

    Closely guarded by the U.S. Marshall, Kate manages to pry herself from his clutches for some time. How does she manage to do this?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      Kate begs to go to the bathroom where she extricates herself.. Employing her charms, Kate is allowed to go to the bathroom, where she manages to release herself from her manacles. Using subterfuge and wit, she overpowers the marshal and escapes. In the elevator, she meets none other than Sawyer who says, "Welcome aboard." Sawyer senses Kate's plight and allows her to leave the elevator first.

    Back at the airport, it seems that Jack's precious cargo has been mishandled. Jack wants to know what has happened to his freight. What does the airport manager say to Jack?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      "We're not exactly sure where it is.". The airline employee, clearly flustered, tells Jack that they have no idea where the coffin is. It seems that it was never loaded upon the plane. Later, in the airport, Jack has a conversation with John. John asks, "What did you lose?" Jack replies, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." The conversation transcends into more of a philosophical discussion. As John prepares to leave, Jack inquires as to what happened to John. John insists that his condition is irreversible. Jack promptly replies, "Nothing is irreversible."

    In the opening of the second part, a life is to be saved and Sawyer prepares to bury Juliet. Miles notes Hurley taking along the guitar and carelessly asks, "We gonna sing "Kumbaya" along the way?" How does Hurley respond?"Lost"- 6.01b- "LA X" Part 2

      "It's not a guitar, man.". As is his wont, Miles is sarcastic as usual. He is really interested in what Hurley carries in the guitar case. In reply, Hurley simply stares at Miles in a defiant way.

    A sullen and depressed Sawyer has found his way back to the dilapidated and deserted barracks, where he lived with Juliet. Kate discovers Sawyer rummaging through some old belongings. Sawyer has retrieved something which he subsequently flings into the lake. What is it?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      an engagement ring. In a poignant scene, Sawyer blames himself for the death of Juliet. He tearfully divulges to Kate that he blames only himself for the demise of Juliet. He further declares his intent to ask for Juliet's hand in marriage. In a symbolic gesture, Sawyer hurls the engagement ring into the lake.

    Jack enters the laboratory of the temple leader. The leader is twirling a baseball on his desk. Jack asks the leader, "What's that?" Without hesitation, the leader replies, "It's a baseball." Jack smiles at the obvious reply and takes a seat. What is the leader's name?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      Dogen. Jack has a frank discussion with the leader of the temple. The leader introduces himself as, "Dogen." Dogen then asks Jack if he has done what he had been instructed to do. Jack says that he has not. In a demonstration of trust, Jack decides to swallow the pill himself. Dogen forcefully dislodges the medicine from Jack. Dogen confesses that the medicine is, in fact, poison.

    Kate, compelled by compassion, returns to find Claire waiting for a bus. Kate offers to take Claire to her meeting. The meeting does not go well, as the prospective adopting parents have split up. Claire suddenly experiences labor pains and Kate rushes Claire to the hospital. Which doctor does Kate find to attend to Claire?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      Dr. Goodspeed. Seeking immediate medical attention for Claire, Kate approaches a doctor outside the examination room. Kate inquires, "Are you a doctor?" The man replies, "Yes. I'm Dr. Goodspeed." It turns out to be Ethan Rom, the surgeon for the Others. Ethan examines Claire and consoles her. He suggests that Claire may deliver her baby or wait. Claire decides to wait on the delivery of Aaron.

    Jack demands an audience with the temple leader. The guards obligingly let Jack pass. Jack confronts the leader in the laboratory. The leader instructs Jack to give something to Sayid. What is it?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      some medicine in pill or capsule form. The leader suggests that Jack must administer a medication to Sayid. In conjunction with the interpreter, the leader tells Jack that Sayid has been contaminated or otherwise infected. Jack is reluctant to give Sayid the medicine. The leader then appeals to Jack's sense of remorse and guilt. The leader hands Jack the medicine and says, "Well, then this is your chance to redeem yourself.

    In the temple leader's dank laboratory, Sayid is strapped to an examining table. The leader, in deliberate silence applies an extremely painful shock of electricity to Sayid. The leader then burns Sayid with a fiery poker. Having observed the proceedings in silence, what does the interpreter tell Sayid about the "tests?""Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      "Don't worry, you passed.". Sayid screams in agony over the applied torture. Sayid beseeches the leader, proclaiming, "I don't have any secrets." After it is over, the interpreter tells Sayid, " I'm sorry we had to put you through that. It was a test. We had to be sure." The interpreter goes on to reassure Sayid, "Don't worry, you passed." However, the interpreter, staring straight ahead, says, "I just lied to him, didn't I?" The leader soberly replies, "Yes."

    Kate arrives at a noisy auto shop. She advances upon a mechanic who is attentively engaged with a task. What sort of tool does Kate demand from the mechanic?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      a tire hammer. Kate points her gun at the mechanic and demands to use a tire hammer. The mechanic suggests with the calmest of demeanors that, "A tire hammer will just cut off your wrists. Your problem is you need a punch press. And you're not going to be able to use one of those and keep that gun pointed at me." Kate is disarmed by the mechanics surprising congeniality. She accepts the offer and the mechanic deftly removes Kate's handcuffs with a punch press.

    The interpreter expresses a great deal of concern over the departure of "Ford." Kate offers to track down and retrieve Ford. Not entirely persuaded, the interpreter asks Kate how she intends to convince Ford to return. How does Kate answer?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      " I can be very convincing when I want to be.". The interpreter solemnly tells Kate, "It's very important that he gets back here safely. What makes you think he's going to listen to you?" Kate, with a great deal of determination replies, "I can be very convincing when I want to be."

    The temple leader, accompanied by his interpreter and other armed men, requests an audience with Sayid. Jack insists that their own questions be answered first. The leader loses patience with Jack and orders Jack to be restrained. Who interrupts the pummeling of Jack?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      Sawyer. As the cohorts of the temple's leader violently restrain Jack, gunshots ring out, interrupting the melee. The interpreter tries to assuage Sawyer by saying, "Please. You don't have to do this. We won't hurt your friend." Sawyer replies with some deliberation that Jack is not his friend. Sawyer announces his intention to leave. Upon leaving, Sawyer commands, "Don't come after me."

    In an intrepid attempt to flee the marshal, Kate manages to commandeer a taxi. Fearing for his life, the taxi driver seizes an opportunity and leaves the taxi. What does Kate do?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      Kate gets into the driver's seat and drives away.. Having to make a stop at an intersection, the taxi driver sees an opportunity, exits the taxi and runs for safety. Kate takes over the wheel and drives away ordering her passenger to stay put.

    After having appeared to die in the temple spring, Sayid awakens. The other members of the party seem genuinely happy to see Sayid alive, with one notable exception. Who is it?"Lost" 6.03 "What Kate Does"

      Sawyer. In a visibly weakened state, Sayid asks Jack, What happened to me?" Jack replies, "You died." Kate wonders, "How is that even possible?" Still quite bitter at the loss of Juliet, Sawyer cynically remarks, "He's an Iraqi torturer who shoots kids. He definitely deserves another go around."

    Jacob's nemesis describes three basic choices that Sawyer may select from. What does Sawyer elect to do?"Lost" 6.04 "The Substitute"

      Sawyer agrees to leave the island with Jacob's nemesis.. Jacob's nemesis shows Sawyer each of the names written upon the wall. Each name is prefixed by one of the mystery numbers. Sawyer's number is 15. Jacob's nemesis goes on to depict each of the transcribed names as "candidates" selected to follow in Jacob's footsteps as leader and protector of the island. Jacob's nemesis insists though, that the island does not need to be protected. Finally, Jacob's nemesis tells Sawyer that the third choice is that they just leave the island. "We never look back." The nemesis asks Sawyer, "So, what do you say James. Are you ready to go home?" Sawyer pauses in reflection. Finally, he says, "Hell, yes."
