One of my favorite 'M*A*S*H' characters, and among the greatest authority figures ever portrayed in a TV series, Sherman T. Potter was both a good leader and a caring fatherly figure. Do we ever learn what the 'T' stands for in his name during any episode? | 'M*A*S*H' - Sherman T. Potter
|
No. Indeed, what the 'T' stands for is still a mystery, though there has been a lot of speculation. It would make sense that the 'T' stands for 'Tecumseh', since he was named after the Civil War general William Tecumseh Sherman, but this is never revealed.
