Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
Halo I
Between what years did the Earthly conflicts take place? | "Halo" History
|
2160-2200. First the Jovian moons campaign began, then the rain forest wars, and finally a series of clashes on Mars.
2291. It was created by a team of researchers, physicists, and mathematicians.
2310. Mostly for the reason because the Earth was being over populated and low on resources.
Argo. Yeah, they lost contact with it when it got there.
What was the name of the leader ship of the group that was sent to Harvest after the Argo did not reply? | "Halo" History
|
Heracles. It was the leader of the other two ships.
Preston Cole. That's how the "Cole" protocole came to be.
"All human vessels must ensure that Covenant forces do not find Earth. Human ships-when forced the withdraw-must not travel on an Earth-bound vector, even if that requires jumping into Slipspace withought proper navigational calculations. If blind jumps are not possible, this ship's captain must order self-destruct if capture is imminent. In addition, it is also imperative that the powerful ship AI data cores not fall into Covenant hands, so part of this protocol involved either the removal or destruction of the ship's AI in extreme situations."
Grunts. When they are sleeping you can kill them all with a melee attack.
F. In the level "343 Guilty Spark" an insane marine attacks you. He is the sole surviver of Captain Keye's group. Also if you kill enough marines on any level they turn into enemies and fire at you.
What enemies carry the infamous Fuel Rod Cannon and a monsterous metal shields? | 'Halo' Enemies
|
Hunters. This is easily the strongest enemy. I have seen one take multiple shots with a shotgun, even a full blast of a rocket launcher. Or a good shot into its unprotected back will do the job.
What enemy comes in Blue, Red, Gold, and Black/Purple battle armor? | 'Halo' Enemies
|
Elites. The grunts also have a wide variety of armor. Theirs is Orange, Red, and Black/Purple.
Grunts. Elites are protected by a shield similer to the Master Chief's, Hunters have metal shields on their left arms and Jackels carry yellow or blue energy shields.
What enemy or enemies are your ally on the level "The Library"? | 'Halo' Enemies
|
the Monitor / Sentinels. After the Library you realize what Halo was built for and what the Monitor is trying to accomplish.
During the ending sequence after you finish "the Maw" on easy, normal or heroic, are Covenant marching toward the Pillar of Autumn? | 'Halo' Enemies
|
No. You see Flood combat forms and carrier forms marching toward the ship. The Covenant are attempting to abandon the ship since they realize what happens when the engines explode.
MRL. To figure this out, you must be in two player mode. One person should jump on top of the other person's head. The one on the bottom simply looks up and you can read these letters very clearly. The left shoe, however, is a mirror image.
anti-air. This makes them perfect for shooting down Banshees! (This is found in the "Halo" game manual.)
A. His full name is Private Wallace A. Jenkins. Although his name is never spoken, you can read it off either his helmet or the bottom of the video clip.
Shade. All of the Covenant's vehicles are named after different types of ghosts or spirits.
Wraith. The Covenant vehicles are Wraiths, Shades, Ghosts, and Banshees. Phantoms will be found in "Halo 2".
6. A certain black elite, which can only be found in legendary mode, will carry this many. Imagine the explosion he would make if you killed him with a needler!
4. There are technicians, light armored Marines, heavily armored Marines, and pilots. The technicians tend to cower in fear of the covenent, and the only pilot you actually see is in the escape pod on the Pillar of Autumn.
1. You may have guessed 3, that being the first, third, and last. However, You have to remember that the third starts on 'Halo', and the last level, while in the 'Pillar of Autumn', is still resting on 'Halo', which counts as being on 'Halo'.
4. Hunters (also known as Lekgolo), Elites (also known as Sangheili), Jackals (also known as Kig-yar)and Grunts (also known as Unggoy)are the only ones we see. Brutes (also known as Jiralhanae) and Prophets come in 'Halo 2', but as for now, no cigar.
6. Remember, the Covenant are not the same species. They are merely an alliance of aliens. The Covenant obviously are the most numerous throughout the game. Then we have the Flood who show up. The other that we can't forget are the Sentinels, sent after our armored butts by 343.
Sidewinder. 'Sidewinder' is huge! It takes so long to run without going through the mountain to get from one base to the other.
Grunts. "Grenade!" "Run away!" "Oh No!" Are three of the Grunts favorite lines.
Who is the black officer who supposedly dies at the end of 'Maw' on legendary? Yes, the one who hugs the Elite. | 'Halo': Lord of the Ring
|
Sergeant Johnson. At the end of 'The Maw' on Legendary, Sergeant Johnson and an Elite are playing tug-o-war with an Assault Rifle. When they hear the Pillar of Autumn's reacter blow, Johnson turns to the Elite and says "This is it baby. Come here." They embrace, and the Elite smoothly moves his hand to Johnson's...um...hindquarters.
Two. The human pistol, and the rocket launcher are the two. To bad no covenant weapons can zoom. The sniper, while it can zoom in x2, can still also zoom in x10.
Foehammer. Foehammer meets its demise at the hands of the Banshees that shoot it down when you are driving through the 'Maw'. There is actually another Pelican that you get a ride on during the game.
343 Guilty Spark. This robot comes and leads you through the 'Library', humming and talking to himself while you fight off endless amounts of Flood. Then, at the end, he tries to kill you.
Plasma and Frag. The Plasma grenades are commonly known as 'Sticky' grenades, but they are actually plasma. They are made by the Covenant, whereas the Fragmentation grenades are Human made.
