Interesting Questions, Facts, and Information
Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon
Peridot. You have to find all six gems (Peridot, Citrine, Zircon, Amythest, Eye of the Tiger, and Tourmaline) to figure out where the treasure is. You need to put these into a contraption that will tell you where it is.
Chaussettes Chatoyants. You have to take a picture of the dancing shoes with your new picture phone and send it to Bess and George, to find out what the name is!
You need this information to correctly place Camille's dolls in order.
Leaping Lizards. You have to play this game in order to get a pen from Tino. The goal of this game is to be left with only four or less lizards.
Fatima. Fatima is a HUGE fan of Charlena Prucell. She also hates it when people spell her name P-H-A-T-I-M-A.
Camille. Camille died on the train, and is supposedly haunting it. She also loved dolls, and did quite a bit of needlepoint.
A picture and sound recording of a ghost. John shows you a ghostly photo and a sound recording of what sounds like a woman singing. You actually never find out if the picture and sound recording are real or if he just faked them.
The Secret of Shadow Ranch. You only get to talk to Charlena on the phone, but none the less, she helps you solve the mystery of Dirk Valentine, and his sweetheart, Francis Humber. This is the first game where you actually get to meet her.
Lori Girard. Lori is giving her welcome speech and when the train goes through a tunnel everything goes dark and Lori is missing! She turns up later in the back of the train.
Lori . Lori had read in Jake's diary about his friendship with President Lincoln. She figured that if she could find Hurley's body, she would also find the letter.
It was written by President Lincoln the day he was assasinated. Jake had the precious ability of making friends. Among these friends was also Samuel Clemens, whom Joe doesn't recognize as the writer Mark Twain.
Tiger eye, zircon, amethyst, citrine, tourmaline, peridot. The complete poem is:
"The eye of the tiger is fixed on a star. Zircon lies in fingers that scar. Amethyst floats in a hand from the deep. Citrine is what the fowl mouth shall keep. Tourmaline by a soft arm is ensnared. Peridot rests at the foot of the mare."
After you place the gems in the correct order, Jake Hurley's contraptions work as a projector to point toward the location of the mine.
Frank works as a short order cook. While Frank works, he listens to a descendant of the engineer that drove Jake's train. Frank tells Nancy that every time he rings the pickup bell, it reminds the old gentleman of the days when his ancestor worked for the Hurleys and he explains to his lady friend about the old days.
Using a color wheel found on Jake's cigar box, you need to open three locks associated with mineral elements. These include silver, copper, and lead. Which color combination opens the copper lock? | "Nancy Drew: The Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon"
|
Green, red, purple, yellow, orange, blue. Ag (Silver) - Orange, blue, green, red, purple, yellow
Pb (Lead) - Red, green, blue, orange, yellow, purple
Silver opens the cigar box, lead opens Jake's box at Buell's, and copper opens Camille's stone coffin, revealing a gem. We don't meet Camille in the game; don't worry. :)
ATAC . It stands for American Teens Against Crime.
Joe is desperate to tell everyone on the train because he feels that they aren't getting enough respect.
Piano. One song she taught herself to play was "Camptown Races". If we play this song on her piano, we get a spyglass.
Romance Novelist. We first met Charleena in "The Secret of Shadow Ranch", the tenth "Nancy Drew" PC game. She knows a lot about the Old West, so Lori invites her for her knowledge.
Tino Balducci is a police detective, Joe and Frank Hardy are amateur detectives and friends of Nancy, and John Grey is a ghost hunter.
Lori Girard. Lori intentionally vanished using a button on the floor that opened a sliding bookcase. She wanted to see who would be first to find her so that she could give them a letter Jake had written to his niece about where his mine was hidden.
