slow death. This poem was printed onto one piece of a map that showed where one of the Four Sisters was. One of the Shadow Lord's servants printed it on.

It will be another hard winter on Dread Mountain I fear.. Dread Mountain, like the rest of Deltora was in trouble because their crops would not grow and there was little fish in the streams. Fa-Glin was too proud to ask for food from the King.

The first. Josef, the palace librarian used to have his library on the third floor, in the times before the Shadow Lord took the Gems of Deltora. Now he has it on the first because after the danger had been moved from the third floor Josef preferred to have the library in the thick of things.

Iris of Del, boot maker and mender, wife of Paulie and mother of Jack. This way of Identifying was custom at Deltora's monthly meetings, Name and Home Town, Occupation, family. Iris was worried about the Shadow Lord being back in Deltora, which of course he wasn't.

The Crystal. This crystal let the Shadow lord talk to The King in his mind, taunting him and driving him mad.

Jasmine. The scrap of map was found in a compartment in the table in which the crystal rested. Jasmine found it because of her knowledge of trees. She saw that a small piece of wood had the grain not matching exactly. The others could not tell but did not doubt Jasmine.

Rolf. Rolf was a Capricorn plotting against the King.
|What kind of animal is the Orchard Keeper?|
Bird. Delicious fruit lures victims to the orchard where there is bitter skin and sweet flesh. The flesh makes the eater sleep so that the giant bird comes and eats the victims. The skin is the antidote to the sleeping flesh.

Lief. Broome, which is the city built over the ruins of Capra is where at sunset, Lief saw Capra.
|Did the ruby dragon kill the Sister of the East?|
Yes. With the Ruby's help, of course.
