    Hawaii. Ed decided that he needed some time off, from the Montecito, so he went to Hawaii, on vacation, and left Danny in charge of the casino. While Ed was away, strange things started to happen, such as someone trying to steal $300 from a guest and guests being locked out of their rooms due to a malfunction. Danny communicated with Ed, about these problems, and Ed advised Danny on how to resolve them.

As the opening credits rolled, who asked Danny if he felt it was alright to have his feet on Ed's desk?
    Sam Marquez. During the opening credits, Ed was seen, in Ed's office, with his feet on Ed's desk and Sam and Nessa were there as well. Sam asked Danny if he felt it was a good idea to put his feet, on Ed's desk, but Danny did not mind it since he was in charge for the entire time that Ed was gone. Nessa laughed about how Ed, the boss, had not been gone for five minutes and Danny had already gone mad.

Who played Jim Warner in this episode of "Las Vegas"?
    Pat Finn. Finn, born on July 31st, 1965 in Evanston, Illinois portrayed Jim Warner for just one appearance on "Las Vegas." Jim Warner was a high roller and he used a lot of money in gambling at the Monte Carlo and Sun City casinos. Finn also guest starred on the TV series', "The Drew Carey Show", "3rd Rock From the Sun", and "Friends." He was also seen in the films, "Dude, Where's My Car?", "Prairie Dogs", and "Funky Monkey." My. Finn is not to be confused with Pat Finn the game show host.

Who played Janet Warner in this episode of "Las Vegas"?
    Tricia O'Kelley. O'Kelley, born on September 26th, 1968 in Melrose, Massachusetts played Janet Warner for one episode of "Las Vegas." Like her husband, Jim, Janet was also a high roller. O'Kelley guest starred on the TV shows, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Gilmore Girls", and "Once and Again." She also appeared in the movies, "The Gatekeeper", "Weather Girl", and "Outside Sales."

Who did Danny talk to about "monkey's paw"?
    Mary Connell. Danny noticed a guest was at a slot machine and using a rod to stick up the coin tray to make it pay off so he spoke to Mary about it. Danny mentioned a technique called "monkey's paw", which is when someone uses a rod to get huge payouts in a casino. Danny told Mary to get a move on catching this guest. Danny and Mary did not catch the guest and the guest fled with the money.

Sam told the Warners that she was available 24 hours a day.
    t. Sam welcomed James and Janet Warner, to the Montecito, and showed them their luxury suite. Sam informed them where the bedrooms and jacuzzi were and that, as casino host, they should address any concerns to her. Sam told Mr. and Mrs. Warner that she was available 24 hours a day and, if they needed her, to contact her and she gave them her contact information. Sam also mentioned that she would try not to bother them at night.

Sam spoke to which person and told him/her that Mr. Warner was either the nicest multi-millionaire she had met or he was screwing her?
    Nessa Holt. In the middle of the episode, Sam went to Nessa and asked her how the Warners were doing at gambling. Nessa informed Sam that they had not gambled and, instead, just walked around the casino floor and then went back to their suite. Sam felt something was off, with Mr. and Mrs. Warner, so she told Nessa that either Mr. Warner was the nicest multi-millionaire she met or he was screwing her. Nessa suggested that Mr. Warner was perhaps a Warren Buffet type of guy, one who never forgot his roots. Nessa suggested that Sam find the guy's "itch" and see what made him gamble and she relayed a story, to Sam, on how she met a guy, in London, who finally gambled after sight seeing in London.

Sam offered the Warners a private gaming area in the Montecito.
    t. Sam took Nessa's advice to find Mr. and Mrs. Warner's "itch" so she saw them, on the casino floor, and went to speak to them. She suggested, to them, that she could get them a private gaming area but they told her they were okay where they were. Sam offered to get them a helicopter so they could tour the Grand Canyon or she could show them Steve Wynn's private art collection. Sam even offered to take them shopping and buy some Gucci clothes. However, the Warners just told Sam they were fine and they felt that, if they took her up on any of her offers, they would be taking advantage of her.

    Michael Berns. Michael Berns and Matt Pyken were credited for writing this episode of "Las Vegas" and their names were shown, on the opening credits, as the writers for "Semper Spy." Berns wrote a total of 8 episodes for the show and Pyken wrote a total of 18 episodes for "Las Vegas." Berns was also a writer for the TV shows, "Greek", Queer as Folk", and "Invasion." Pyken wrote for the TV series', "Knight Rider", "Queer as Folk", and "Deadline."

Frank Kulchak, a guest at the Montecito, told who that the bank was about to take his house?
    Mike Cannon. Mike monitored Frank, while Frank stayed at the Montecito, and Frank decided to break some bad news to Mike. Frank told Mike that his wife died, two years ago, and he was on disability and the bank was about to take his house. However, Mike told Frank that his story was the worst lie he ever heard and Mike wanted him to leave the casino. Frank persuaded Mike to give him another chance so Mike did and they had a couple of drinks together.
