    Slipping the right rear tires in USAC. Tony first got this nickname when he was driving sprint cars back in '91 and while running USAC, Tony wasn't very good about not slipping the right rear tire.

Where did Jeff Patterson "Gooch" get his nickname?
    Tony gave it to him. Tony gave Jeff this nickname cause he said that he reminded him of his old truck driver. Gooch was the gas man.

What is Gooch's Job?
    Gas Man. Gooch is also Tony's motorcoach driver.

Where did Scott "Scooter" Crowell get his nickname?
    Robby Loomis gave it to him. Scott worked with the Petty's at the same time Robby Loomis did, and one day that is what Robby called him, kind of because there were many Scotts and because Scott loves motorcycles.

What is Scooter's Job?
    Truck Driver. He drives the truck that carries the cars and equipment from track to track.

Where did Brian "Shaggy" Larson get his nickname?
    Because he had a goatee. Basically he was given this nickname because he had a goatee and because he is tall and skinny ( like Shaggy on Scooby Doo ).

What is Shaggy's Job?
    Catch Can Man. He catches any excess fuel that dumps overboard out of the fuel tank during refueling.

Where did Chris "Spider" Gillin get his nickname?
    From carrying tires up & down stairs. Chris worked with sprint cars when he was a teenager, and the building it was 2 story. He use to carry 8 to 10 tires at a time (so it was like he had 8 arms).

What is Spider's Job?
    Mechanic. He works on the car and other equipment for the team.

What is Tony's other nickname?
    Rushville Rocket. He was born in Rushville, In.
