    Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. "Snow White" was the first animated movie to be shown as a feature length. It was about a queen who tried to eliminate Snow White for being "the fairest one of all". It rose 15 spots from its original spot on the list at number 49. "Fantasia" was on the original list at number 58 but didn't make the revised version. This was "Toy Story's" first inclusion on the list.

    Steven Spielberg. "Schindler's List"(number 8), "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial"(number 24), "Jaws"(number 56), "Raiders Of The Lost Ark"(number 66), and "Saving Private Ryan"(number 71) were all Spielberg movies that made the list. Wilder, Hitchcock and Kubrick each had four movies on the list.

Originally at number 96, this western made an 84 spot jump to number 12 on the revised list. What is it?
    The Searchers. "The Searchers" was John Wayne's only movie on the list. It was a 1956 movie about a man who searched for years for his niece who was kidnapped by Native Americans. The other choices all made big jumps too. "City Lights" went from number 76 to number 11. "Vertigo" went from number 61 to number 9. "Unforgiven" went from number 98 to number 68.

23 movies from the original list were replaced. At number 39 and featuring one of Egypt's finest actors, which was the highest ranked movie to get replaced?
    Doctor Zhivago. "Doctor Zhivago" was a romance set in the Russian Revolution starring Omar Sharif and Julie Christie. It failed to make the revised list. "The Birth Of A Nation", "From Here To Eternity" and "Amadeus" also fell from the list at high positions at number 44, number 52 and number 53 respectively.

What movie featuring a "Casablanca" actor dropped from number 17 on the original list to number 65 on the revised one?
    The African Queen. "The African Queen" from 1951 had the biggest drop on the list, 48 spots. It starred Humphrey Bogart as a boat captain and Katherine Hepburn as a British missionary who fell in love in Africa in WW2. "Ben-Hur" dropped from number 72 to number 100. "A Clockwork Orange" dropped from number 46 to number 70. "The Bridge On The River Kwai" dropped from number 13 to number 36.

The oldest movie on the list was a silent movie from 1916. What is it?
    Intolerance. "Intolerance" was a movie about all the intolerance throughout history by director D.W. Griffith. Its rank was 49. This movie was not on the original list but another D.W. Griffith movie, "The Birth Of A Nation", was and fell off the list.

What was the highest ranked new inclusion on the list at number 18? It was filmed in sepia.
    The General. "The General" was a 1927 silent movie starring Buster Keaton. It was about a Confederate in the Civil War who wanted to be a soldier. The movie was famous for its train sequence.

One actor appeared in six movies on the list. They were "To Kill A Mockingbird", "MASH", "The Godfather", "The Godfather Part II", "Network" and "Apocalypse Now". Who is he?
    Robert Duvall. Duvall was a supporting actor in those movies. He played Boo Radley in "To Kill A Mockingbird", Frank Burns in "MASH", Tom Hagen in "The Godfather" series, Frank Hackett in "Network" and Lieutenant Colonel Bill Kilgore in "Apocalypse Now". The most movies for a lead actor is a tie between Robert De Niro ("The Godfather Part II", "Taxi Driver", "The Deer Hunter", "Raging Bull", "Goodfellas") and James Stewart("Mr. Smith Goes To Washington", "The Philadelphia Story", "It's A Wonderful Life", "Rear Window" and "Vertigo").

    Cary Grant. Although he had three movies on the list, none of them were in the top ten. They were "The Philadelphia Story", "North By Northwest" and "Bringing Up Baby". James Stewart was in "Vertigo" at number 9. Humphrey Bogart was in "Casablanca" at number 3. Clark Gable was in "Gone With The Wind" at number 6.

    Citizen Kane. "Citizen Kane" was a 1941 movie directed, produced, written and starred in by Orson Welles. It was loosely based on the life of entrepreneur William Randolph Hearst. Congratulations to Kane.

5 horror movies made the list. The lowest ranked one was The Sixth Sense at #89. What was the highest ranked horror movie?
    Psycho. Psycho was ranked at #14 on the list. King Kong was #41, Jaws was #56 and The Silence Of The Lambs was at #74.

    City Lights. City Lights was at #11 which also makes it the highest ranking comedy on the list. The General was at #18. Intolerance was at #49. The Gold Rush was at #58.

What was the newest movie in the top ten?
    Schindler's List. Don't let the fact that it's in black and white fool you. Schindler's List is from 1993, almost 30 years since color movies took over completely.
