    The Birth of a Nation. "The Birth of a Nation" from 1915.

How many musicals made the list (live or animated)?
    8. #6 "The Wizard of Oz", #10 "Singin' in the Rain", #41 "West Side Story", #49 "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, #55 "The Sound of Music", #58 "Fantasia", #68 "An American in Paris" and finally #91 "My Fair Lady".

Some of the greatest actresses surprisingly do not appear anywhere on the list. Which of these talented women has at least one movie in the top 100?
    Celeste Holm. Holm stars in the unforgettable #16 "All About Eve". All three of the other actress' career films went unmarked by the AFI.

Who is the only director to direct two movies in the top ten?
    Victor Fleming. Fleming directed #4 "Gone with the Wind" as well as #6 "The Wizard of Oz".
