When Adam kidnapped Erica up to Canada, Stuart impersonated him back in Pine Valley.

t. Adam made Erica's life a nightmare for a short period of time when he kidnapped her to a mansion up in Canada that eventually led to Erica escaping and confronting a grizzly bear. Back at home, Stuart remained loyal to Adam and impersonated him to make it seem as if he was still in town. There were multiple occasions after this where Stuart impersonated Adam, such as in late 1999 when Adam was locked in a room at Chandler Mansion.

Who owned the cabin where Erica was held captive?

Adam Chandler. Early on in this story, Erica was getting herself together and Adam entered her room so she chided him and said he could not hurt her. Adam assured her they were in paradise but Erica wanted nothing of it and said the owners of the mansion would prevent Adam from hurting her. Adam told her that he was the actual owner of the mansion.

Who assured a member of Adam's family that he would not hurt Adam?

Jeremy Hunter. Jeremy spoke to "Adam" one day back at Chandler Mansion but he soon wised up to Stuart's charade and informed "Adam" that he knew it was Stuart impersonating his twin brother. Jeremy informed Stuart he had been living a peaceful existence and wanted Stuart to give the location of where Adam took Erica. Stuart did not want to, at first, since he thought Jeremy would harm Adam but Jeremy let him know he would not hurt Adam. Stuart told him where Adam and Erica were so Jeremy set out to rescue Erica.

Who told Mark that it was unlike Erica to run off since "Raising Kane" had been such a success?

Mona Kane. There was one scene in this short story where Mona and Mark talked about Erica's disappearance and Mona just could not believe it. She cited her disbelief over the fact that Erica's autobiography, "Raising Kane", had been such a success that there would have to be extreme circumstances for her to run away. Mark told Mona that it seemed as if their only hope of finding Erica was Jeremy locating her.

Who rescued Erica from Adam up in Canada?

Jeremy Hunter. After Jeremy learned of where Erica and Adam were in Canada, he went there to locate them and was seen going through the Canadian wilderness to track down the mansion where they stayed. Jeremy was seen trying to break down a locked door to the mansion but one of Adam's men saw him. Jeremy knocked the man out and managed to get inside and rescue Erica.

Who assured someone in Adam's family that Jeremy was not a threat to Adam?

Mark Dalton. Mark went over to Chandler Mansion one day since he also found out that Stuart was impersonating Adam back home. He informed Stuart how he knew Stuart was still scared Jeremy would harm Adam but Mark insisted he knew Jeremy well and that he had no plans to hurt Adam. Stuart agreed that Erica needed to be kept out of harm's way but still hoped nothing bad would come of Adam.

It was during this story where Erica had her infamous encounter with the grizzly bear.

t. Erica managed to escape from Adam and she went wandering through the woods to steer clear of him. It was while she ran off into the woods that she had her infamous scene with the grizzly bear. Erica told the bear he could not get near her since she was Erica Kane and he was a filthy beast. Erica's staring down the grizzly bear worked since the bear left.

Erica mentioned she would have used what kind of weapon on Adam?

Knife. After Jeremy rescued Erica, they made their way to a river and started to talk there. Jeremy informed her she did not have to think of herself as some soldier but Erica assured him she would have used a knife on Adam if it came down to it. Erica asked him if everyone else was looking for her but Jeremy said everyone thought she had taken a couple of days off to recover from her film premiere.

The person who rescued Erica called for them both to then be rescued by airplane.

f. Jeremy and Erica spent many hours enjoying the Canadian wilderness, which included swimming, but Jeremy then got down to business and called to have them rescued. It was when Jeremy made the call that we heard him say to send up a boat to rescue both him and Erica. While the boat came, Jeremy and Erica stayed warmed by building a fire.

Adam accused Erica and her rescuer of attempted murder. Were they brought up on charges?

n. Adam ran into Erica and Jeremy again and that is when he accused them of attempted murder. He wanted the Canadian police to arrest both of them so they decided to interview both Erica and Jeremy. They both told the police exactly what had happened and, at the end, the police decided not to press charges as they found no basis over Adam's claim. This is when Jeremy informed Erica he booked them a room at a luxury hotel.
