    Leon the Pig Farmer. His character was an estate agent who learned of his biological parents in this comedic journey. During the filming there was a lot of shots of the back of Mark's head. It became a joke on the set that the back of Mark's head was beautiful. Since this was one of his first films, Mark had wanted his face to be seen and didn't quite get the process of shooting angles. The funny guy he was, Mark took a polaroid of his face and taped it to the back of his head and filming continued until the producer saw it. The photo was removed and all had a good laugh.

Paula Trickey worked with Mark on a short lived television series. What was this spy-like series?
    The Fortune Hunter. Unfortunately this 1994 series, "The Fortune Hunter" didn't make a big splash and the series was cancelled before the season was out. The series was a weekly spy adventure, detailing the escapades of a former British agent Carlton Dial. Paula Trickey was his co-star in "The Fortune Hunter" and spoke highly of Frankel. She stated in interviews that Mark was a great kisser, but was very professional, never crossing the line. She also spoke of his giving nature as an actor.

    For Roseanna. The movie centered around a strict Italian family intent on being buried in the last space available in a specific cemetery in their home town. Frankel portrayed Antonio, an Italian attorney who befriended Marcello's family (Marcello is portrayed by Jean Reno), helping in their plight. It was Frankel's final work. You see the dedication to Frankel in the end credits of the film. Frankel was killed shortly after the film wrapped.
