    Cats. All animals in ancient Egypt were respected, as the Egyptians thought they were in close contact with gods and deities. However, the cat was worshipped more than others. They chased snakes and rodents, so they were thought to be gods.

I am the only flying mammal. What am I?
    Bat. Bats are mammals. Bats are the only mammals that can fly. Bats are also not blind, as some think. The locate objects by bouncing sound waves off them.

One of these is not like the rest. Which one is different?
    Sparrow. The sparrow is the only bird in this group that can fly. The other birds all cannot.

Are Cuban Tree Frogs the largest species of tree frogs in North America?
    y. Cuban tree frogs weigh approximately 57 grams, or 2 ounces. Their life span is usually around 5-10 years, although like all life span info, this can vary. Their tadpole stage is 30 to 60 days.

Approximately how far away can you be and still hear a lion's roar?
    5 miles away. Of course, this will depend. Things such as humidity and ground obstructions (mountains, hills, trees, etc.) will make this number vary, but on a flat stretch of land on a clear day, 5 miles would be about correct.

How many eyelids do camels have on each eye?
    2 eyelids. This is to protect the eyes of the camels from blowing sand. In the desert, wind can blow so fast it creates a sandstorm and the sand can even cover up whole buildings! They also have a mucus covering as well as the 2 eyelids, but it is not technically an eyelid.

Komodo dragons can live up to 50 years.
    t. 15-20 years is the average for most komodo dragons, but they have been known to live much longer. Komodo dragons are very big lizards that can weigh up to 365 pounds maximum. However, that is rare. Most males weigh 200-300 pounds at the adult stage.

Do the feathers of a pigeon weigh less than the bones of a pigeon?
    n. The bones of a pigeon are very light. The feathers weigh more. The feathers are denser than the bones.

Which is one place where penguins DO live?
    Antarctica. Many penguins live in Antarctica. You will never find a penguin at the North Pole, however! Penguins are only found in the Southern Hemisphere. The places where you can see penguins are the south tip of South America, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica.
