Winning five successive Wimbledon mens doubles titles is a feat only emulated once before in tennis history! They also won back-to-back US Open Doubles titles in 1995 and 1996 along with two Australian Open titles in 1992 and 1997 and Olympic gold at Atlanta in 1996.

    Wayne Gardner. The "Wollongong Whiz" got his first motorbike out of a junkyard!     Susie O'Neill. Born in Brisbane, Susie is one of Australia's most successful swimmers. She has eight Olympic medals, was Australian Swimmer of the Year in both 1995 and 1996, Female Olympian of the Year in 1996, received the Order of Australia Medal in 1997, was Australian Female Athlete of the Year in 1998, and in 2000 broke the 200m butterfly world record which had stood for 19 years.

    Pat Rafter & Patrick Rafter & Rafter. Born in Mt Isa, Pat began playing at the age of five and turned professional in 1991. In 1993 he was named ATP Tour Newcomer of the Year. He has won 11 singles and 10 doubles titles in his career. From July 1999 until August 1999 Pat was the number one player in the world.
