Faldor greatly prized Pol's cooking and was sad to see them leave.

2. Who was Garion's female childhood playmate?

Answer: Zubrette

Zubrette was Garion's playmate and she ruled the boys with a rod of iron! After Pol discovered Garion and Zubrette in the barn, she soon took steps to head THAT little romance off!

3. Where was Silk from?

Answer: Drasnia

Silk's real name was Prince Kheldar, of the Royal House of Drasnia. He was nephew to King Rhodar, and was in love with his uncle's young wife.

4. Who were the twin brothers who were Disciples of Aldur?

Answer: Beltira & Belkira

Beltira and Belkira were the twin disciples. Only Polgara seems to be able to tell the two apart, and they are so closely connected that they always finish each others sentences, much to the disgust of Beldin!

Errand is a young, totally innocent boy who is able, because of this purity, to touch the Orb. His habit of trying to hand the Orb to anyone he meets is rather worrying to say the least! Kheva is the name of the Crown Prince of Drasnia, Unrak is Barak's son and Issus is the name of the Nyissan assassin.

The fire was of a magical nature, as the house was stone-built. Garion's father managed to push out a stone in the wall and shove Garion to safety.

Master Jeebers was the unfortunate man that the Princess tricked into helping her leave the Palace. Although this was essential, when he discovered her subterfuge, he ran for his life!

Ce'Nedra even dyed her hair to try to hide her identity, although her manner and wild stories made everyone suspicious!

Garion felt the amulet throbbing as Belgarath returned with Silk in a boat. Belgarath had sustained a broken arm on their escapade, much to the absolute delight of Silk.

Belgarath fought with Zedar, then cracked open the very rock they stood on and left Zedar entombed. As no-one can duplicate anothers thoughts, this left Zedar there for eternity or until Belgarath decided to release him.

The battle was at the City of Eternal Night, so called due to the large cloud that was permanently overhead.

Taur Urgas finally met his end at the rapier of Cho-Hag in the war Ce'Nedra started to help Garion reach his destination for the battle between him and Torak.

Torak so loved the dragon he created he made it immune to attack by the Will and the Word. Unfortunately the only two male dragons killed each other in the mating flight leaving only one female dragon alone in the world.

14. Ok, nearly there! What is the name of the Emperor of Mallorea who was involved in the war, although only there to exterminate the Murgo King?

Answer: Zakath

Zakath was to later have a much larger role to play in the Mallorean series. Urgit was one of the many children of the Murgo king, Drosta was king of the Nadraks, and Gorim was the title of the Holy One of the Ulgos, named after the man who convinced Ul to be their God.

Answer: Ul

Ul was the father of the Gods, and joined his thought with the universe to create the others. Torak called out to his mother, the universe, as he died in the battle with Belgarion.
