Easy, we’ve all heard of Pegasus right? Well, what is he?

    A Flying Horse. If you’ve seen Pegasus in movies he’s always a flying horse. His constellation is in the northern sky. And his name means "Flying Horse".

Do you know the English word for Leo?
    Lion. Leo is Latin. A Leo’s animal is a lion and so is his constellation.

Is the constellation Phoenix in the Northern sky?
    N. Phoenix, the bird, is in the Southern sky.

Andromeda is a male?
    F. Andromeda is a woman! Also known as the "chained Lady."

Is Andromeda a galaxy?
    Y. Andromeda is a galaxy. M31 is the galixy Andromeda.

What does the name Aquarius mean?
    The Water Bearer. Aries name means the Ram, Auriga is the Charioteer, and Bootes is the Herdsman.

Canis Major means what?
    The Great Dog. "The Keel" is Carina, "The Sea Goat" is none other than Capricornus (or Capricorn), and "The Little Dog" is Canis Minor. So Canis Major must mean "The Great Dog"!

Another name for Alpha Canis Major is Sirius.
    t. Lupus is another constellation next to Centaurus (The Centaur). He is a wolf. Cassiopeia is another constellation and her name means "The Vain Queen" for those who don’t know her as Cassiopeia. Eta Carinae is another word for the Keyhole Nebula it is also related to Carina "The Keel." Anyone who has read Harry Potter book three will recognize the name Sirius. (he is also in other books award.) Sirius is a bright star (magnitude of -1.5) and is the nose of the constellation Canis Major.

Everyone, who has read Harry Potter, will find a boy called, Draco. But does any one know who Alpha Draconis (or Alpha Draco) was when the Pyramids were built?
    The Pole Star. "The Winding River" is the meaning of the name Eridanus. A constellation. "The Dragon" is the meaning of Draco. Another constellation. But he was known as the Pole Star when the Pyramids in Egypt were built.

    Crux. The Southern Cross proved a boon to the early navigators who sailed the southern seas in the 1500s. It is also the smallest constellation in the sky. Northern or Southern.
