    Genesis. Clue relates to the first book of the bible = Genesis. Genesis were formed in England in 1968. Peter Gabriel left in the mid seventies to pursue a solo career. This left the drummer of the band- a certain Phil Collins - to take on the vocals as well as the drums.

    The Police. Sting and friends made some of the most memorable pop-rock songs of the late 70's and 80's. Sting became even more successful with his solo career.

    Jimi Hendrix. Clue comes from an adapted transcript of the opening lines of the classic track 'Hey Joe'. Hendrix was quite simply a breath of fresh air.
