Sith. The Sith is a group of beings that are Force sensitive, and use the Dark Side of The Force for personal empowerment. Throughout the game, regardless of whether you choose the Light Side path or the Dark Side path, the Sith will be your main enemies.

Canderous. Canderous Ordo was a Mandalorian who fought in the Mandalorian War that preceded the Jedi Civil War ("Knights of the Old Republic"). He was picked up by Revan on Taris where he was a mercenary. He was also a party member in "The Sith Lords", but was known as Mandalore, and did not remove his armour, so no one knew his true identity.

Sion. Sion was one of the three Sith Lords of the Sith Triumvirate, the Lord of Pain. He had grey, cracked skin, and only one eye. He is first seen when he brings in the Republic ship, the Harbinger, to Peragus. There, Kreia fought him to buy the Exile time to escape, but she lost her hand in the process. Later, near the end of the game, he is the second-to-last enemy you fight in the game, and you have to defeat him multiple times before you may pass to the final battle.

Peragus. Peragus is the first world you visit in "The Sith Lords". It is a mining station in which all the droids have been corrupted and killed all organic life they could find. This leaves you to wander a completely deserted station with, at first, no clue as to your situation. Once you leave Peragus, you cannot return.

bastila. Bastila was a Jedi who joined your party on Taris after you won her in a swoop race. She was the first Jedi to join your group, and it is later explained that Revan and Bastila share a Force bond. She was captured by Darth Malak on the Leviathan, and became his apprentice. Depending on your choices during the game, Bastila can stay evil, be redeemed to the Light Side, or be killed. She is also the love interest of "Knights of the Old Republic" if you are playing as a male.

Kashyyyk. Kashyyyk was the home world of the well-known Wookiees. It is covered in massive forests with trees that are kilometres tall, in which the Wookiees created their cities. During "Knights of the Old Republic", the Wookiee population had been enslaved by Czerka, and you had the option of either helping the Wookiees and freeing them (Light Side), or aiding Czerka in their slaving operations (Dark Side).

Karath. Saul Karath was an Admiral for the Republic before he jumped ship to the Sith. He was Carth's old commanding officer, whom Carth respected immensely until Saul became a traitor and ravaged Carth's home planet, Telos. Saul was killed onboard the Leviathan by Carth after Revan's party had been captured and brought onboard.

Visas. Visas was a Miraluka Sith apprentice. The Miralukans did not have eyes, and instead perceived everything through The Force. Her home world was destroyed by the Sith, but her life was spared, and she was taken in by Darth Nihilus. She was sent on a mission by the Sith lord to track down and kill the Exile (the player character in "The Sith Lords") but she failed, and was instead invited to join the Exile in her quest.

Nihilus. Darth Nihilus was another member of the Sith Triumvirate, the Lord of Hunger. Nihilus fed on The Force, and made his way around the galaxy looking for Force sensitive beings to consume. He had so much Dark energy in him, that he was unable to contain himself without his armour. He was killed onboard his ship, the Ravager, as he was readying to consume Telos.

Carth Onasi. Carth was the first long-term character to join your party in "Knights of the Old Republic" (Trask Ulgo was the first character to join you, but he was killed onboard the Endar Spire). Carth, after being betrayed by many men and women he had once trusted, and losing his wife and son, was weary when it came to trusting anyone. If Revan chose the path of the Light during the Jedi Civil War, Carth would appear in "The Sith Lords" as an Admiral for the Republic. He was also the romantic interest in "Knights of the Old Republic" if the player was female.
