    Lion. Li - Lithium O - Oxygen N - Nitrogen LiON The lion is one of the largest of the big cats; most live in Africa, but there is a small colony in India. The Lions is the nickname given to a Rugby Union team consisting of players from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, the football (soccer) teams of both Bulgaria and Singapore as well as to an American football team in Detroit.

Tungsten, Aluminium, Ruthenium, Sulfur.
    Walrus. W - Tungsten Al - Aluminium Ru - Ruthenium S - Sulfur WAlRuS The walrus is a marine mammal which lives in and around the Arctic, northern Atlantic and northern Pacific Oceans. A walrus makes an unlikely appearance with a carpenter in the poem of the same name in "Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll.

Cobalt, Yttrium, Oxygen, Tellurium.
    Coyote. Co - Cobalt Y - Yttrium O - Oxygen Te - Tellurium CoYOTe The coyote lives in North and Central America; it is also known as the prairie wolf or the American Jackal and is related to the Eurasian grey wolf. Possibly because the animals are so numerous there, South Dakota has been known as the 'Coyote State'.

Selenium, Aluminium.
    Seal. Se - Selenium Al - Aluminium SeAl Seals are carnivorous aquatic animals which are found in all of the world's oceans. The United States Navy Seals don't take their name from the animal, but from 'SE'a, 'A'ir and 'L'and teams.

Cobalt, Tungsten.
    Cow. Co - Cobalt W - Tungsten CoW A cow is used to refer to an adult female which has had a calf in many species of animal e.g. elephants, whales and especially cattle. The word cattle comes from the old French word 'catel' which is derived from the Latin 'caput' meaning 'head', and refers to moveable personal property, particularly livestock, to distinguish it from real property such as land.

Rhodium, Indium, Oxygen, Carbon, Erbium, Osmium.
    Rhinoceros. Rh - Rhodium In - Indium O - Oxygen C - Carbon Er - Erbium Os - Osmium RhInOCErOs A rhinoceros is a pachyderm; both white and black rhinoceroses are found in Africa; Indian, Javan and Sumatran rhinoceroses are found in Asia. The white rhino doesn't get its name from its colour, but from the fact that it has a wide mouth for grazing.

Carbon, Astatine.
    Cat. C - Carbon At - Astatine CAt A cat is a domestic feline, although there are now large feral cat colonies in many places; they are found on all of the continents except Antarctica. In some parts of the world a black cat is regarded as a good luck symbol but in others it is seen as a harbinger of misfortune.

Molybdenum, Uranium, Selenium.
    Mouse. Mo - Molybdenum U - Uranium Se - Selenium MoUSe A mouse is a small rodent; they are found in most parts of the world. It is also the name given to a pointing device attached to a computer.

Tungsten, Aluminium, Lanthanum, Boron, Yttrium.
    Wallaby. W - Tungsten Al - Aluminium La - Lanthanum B - Boron Y - Yttrium WAlLaBY A wallaby is a marsupial from Australia. The Australian Rugby Union team's nickname is the Wallabies.
