    Yellow. Also known as throwing a flag, the yellow marker is tossed onto the field when a penalty needs to be assessed.

The "Galloping Ghost", Red Grange, played for what NFL team?
    Chicago Bears. Red Grange played football for the Chicago Bears as well as baseball for the New York Yankees. He was multi-talented and drew record breaking crowds.

Which of these teams is America's only community owned NFL franchise?
    Green Bay Packers. The Cheese Heads in Green Bay are proud of their team. They also formed their all-fan team band in the 1930s.

What was the jaw-dropping final score of the Bears vs. Redskins game in 1940?
    73 - 0. Sammy Baugh, quarterback for the Redskins, was asked after the game if an early touchdown would have made a difference. His response was, "Yes, it would have been 73-7".

There were two seperate balls used in the NFL during the 1950s. One was the familiar brown ball with two white stripes. What was the other?
    A white ball with two dark stripes. Due to poor lighting on the fields, a white ball with two brown stripes was used in the night games. This was only for a brief period in the 1950s until the lighting situation improved.

In what city was the first indoor game?
    Chicago. In 1932, Chicago faced a rough winter. This was before the time of domed stadiums. They were forced to be inventive and played the game indoors on a modified 80-year old field.

Who was the first team to have ornamentation on their helmets?
    Rams. Fred Gehrke, Rams player and art major, painted horns on his teams leather helmets.

Which NFL team has hypocycloids as their symbol?
    Steelers. The Steelers three star-like shapes are called hypocycloids. They represent the three elements of steel. In more modern times, some also say they represent Pittsburgh's three rivers.

Tom Dempsey set an NFL record with a 63-yard field goal in 1970. This was an astonishing kick in itself. What else made this such an achievement?
    He was missing half his foot.. Tom Dempsey was born with half of a foot on his right leg. This also happened to be the foot he kicked with. He had to have his shoes specially made. This obviously did not hold him back.
