Fun Trivia: N : Name It - Easy

Special Sub-Topic: Give the Title To Me... NOW!

Zombies and monsters are running around an underground laboratory where a computer has gotten out of control and locked everyone in. Name the movie.

Resident Evil. This was a great movie starring Milla Jovovich as the main character, Alice. Alice has nothing to do with the videogames or books or comic books. The only character that has anything to do with the other versions of the storyline is Nemesis who is shown at the end of the movie.

A man has killed two families in the last two months. A retired FBI employee is trying to track down this killer with the help of an intelligent madman that he caught four years beforehand. Name the movie (2002 version!).
Red Dragon. These are all Hannibal movies based on the Hannibal books by Thomas Harris. "The Silence of the Lambs" was about a woman working with the FBI to track down a man who is skinning people. "Hannibal" is about the madman's chronicles after he escapes the institution. "Manhunter" is an earlier version of "Red Dragon", but it wasn't made in 2002 as I had specified.

A high-school student has bought a broken-down car. Afterwards the car seems to magically heal herself, and then goes on a killing spree against anyone that crosses her owner. Even if they are her owner's friends and family. Name the movie.
Christine. "The Rage" was the title to the sequel of the hit-movie "Carrie" which was based on Stephen King's book of the same title. "The Psycho Car" I made up and "Ronnie's Anger" deals with the movie and its book. "Christine" is based on Stephen King's "Christine" and is one of his best works.

An incoming space probe has released a lot of radiation. This radiation seeps into the ground and raises the dead. A group of people are then trapped in a country-house by the rampaging hordes. Name the movie.
Night of the Living Dead. "Day of the Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" are sequels to "Night of the Living Dead". "Resident Evil" is based on a videogame about a virus that creates zombies.

A woman and her child go out to a house in the middle of nowhere to get their car fixed. At the house they encounter a rabid Saint Bernard that traps them inside their vehicle during the hottest summer on record. Name the movie.
Cujo. Another work of Stephen King's. "Cujo" is the best book I have ever read, yet a disappointing movie. Oh well. "The End of Days" is a movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger about the devil. "Christine" is about a psycho car and "Carrie" is about a girl with telekinetic powers that snaps.

Very loosely based on an old play. This is a tale of vampires and werewolves at war. A vampire and a werewolf fall in love and must fight for the freedom of their relationship. And in the werewolf lies the ability to end the war or fuel it. Name the movie.
Underworld. This is very loosley based on Shakespear's "Romeo and Juliet". It deals with half-vampire half-werewolf people and the vampire and werewolf relationship that goes beyond boundaries of war. It was released into theaters 09/19/03 and has spectacular fight scenes.

This is a trilogy. A hobbit from a peace-loving place called the Shire is thrown into turmoil when he is entrusted with a Great Ring that has the ability to bring a second darkness upon the world. Together with a band of elves, dwarves, men, wizards, and more of his kind he must take it to the heart of the army willing to do anything to get the Ring back and toss it into the place from whence it was formed and thus the only place it can be destroyed. Name the movie.
The Lord of the Rings. "The Fellowship of the Ring" is the first movie in the trilogy. "The Two Towers" is the second and better, and "The Return of the King" features the end of the struggle, for good or bad.

A genius-kid gets bitten by a radioactive spider and finds that he has more strength and agility than ever. He also finds out that he has the power to "web-sling" and practices with it to help the helpless. Just in time too, because a powerful villain has come to town and is mercilessly killing all those in his way.
Spider-Man. All I can say is I hope you got this one right. This movie is based on the comic series "Spider-Mn". Although the Green Goblin wasn't his first villain in the comics he was the most menacing and most classic.

A made-for-TV movie (2002) with a surprise ending for those who've read the book. A girl with a terrifying power is tortured at school by normal teasing and pranks. Then also at home by her psychotically religious mother. Then, on prom-night, she snaps, and everyone feels her anger. What is the title to this movie?
Carrie. This is based on the book by Stephen King, and also on the original movie based on the book. As you should be able to tell by now I'm a big Stephen King fan.

This is a movie inspired by true events. Five kids are driving through the country and pick up a dangerous hitch-hiker. Then, after ditching the hitch-hiker, when they stop at a house from their childhood, they start getting picked off one by one by a maniac wielding a chainsaw and also wears the skin of his victims on his face. What is the title of this movie?
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. "Leatherface" is a sequel to this movie. "A Nightmare on Elm Street" is about a madman that lives in the dreamworld and kills people under 18 in their nightmares. I figured I mine as well throw this one in considering that the remake came out the day after I created this quiz. I suggest fans of the original go see it. I hope you enjoyed my quiz!
