    3 Years. He lived in his house until Ford dragged him into a wild adventure.

    London. He said he moved from London because it made him nervous and irritable.

How many times did Arthur see the bulldozer before realizing what was going on?
    4. The word bulldozer and the color yellow floated around in his head trying to find something to connect it to previous events.

Who is the man who is going to bulldoze Arthur's house?
    Mr. L. Prosser. Mr. L. Prosser is a strange man, who is always thinking..."MURDER".

How many pints of "bitter" does Ford order?
    6. Ford says Arthur is going to need all the alcohol he can get "because the world is going to end".

What does the "Hitchhikers' Guide" mention about alcohol?
    All of these (The best drink in existence is the "Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster", It tells you how to make a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, Drink...but....Very Carefully). All of these are mentioned. It also says that the effect of drinking a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster "is like having your brains smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick."

What kind of flying saucer does Ford sometimes say he is waiting for?
    A green one!. He is looking for a green flying saucer because green was the color of the traditional space livery of the Betelgeuse trading scouts.
