Unable to consciously control the actions of his left arm, Scott tosses a few dinner rolls at Warren. Warren confronts Scott, but Scott apologizes profusely, denying having thrown any rolls. However, while shaking hands with his right hand, Scott hurls his drink on Warren. Warren is now prepared to pummel Scott but stops when he notices a blood streaming from Scott's eye.

Answer: "Alien Hand Syndrome"

Cameron had mentioned to Taub that, "The seizures stopped after the surgery, but he's having trouble adjusting to a split brain." Scott describes his shopping experience indicating that his left hand essentially has a will of its own. Taub goes on to say that Scott's right hemisphere is controlling his left hand.

Answer: lipstick

Laboring under a psychotic delusion induced by many years of continued pain medication dependency, House has apparently discovered some lipstick on his nightstand. House is planning to display this to Cuddy at the appropriate moment.

Answer: glitch

As Cameron is describing Scott's case with Taub, she says, "There's been a glitch with the wedding." Taub attempts to pursue the comment but Cameron evades the subject. Later, Taub annoys Chase with the subject. Chase broaches the subject but leaves in a huff when Taub says, "Did you know that male fruit flies have toxic chemicals in their seminal fluid that inhibit the sperm of other males?"

Answer: He squawks.

House has initiated a campaign to make Cuddy angry in order to purportedly ascertain her true feelings. Cuddy retaliates by sending clinic patients to his office. Eugene arrives at House's office. Eugene says, "I squawk. Like a parrot." Duly unimpressed, House dismisses Eugene by saying, "Nice pants."

Answer: a stool sample

Eugene interrupts a somewhat serious discussion that Dr. Cuddy is having with some important clients. Eugene says, "Sorry to interrupt. Here's my poo. Dr. House said to bring it over and leave it with you as soon as I could." Dr. Cuddy accepts the sample and says that she will take care of it.

Answer: "If your condo rules don't let you buy insurance, would you go homeless?"

Cameron candidly confesses to House, "I have doubts. Normal doubts. It's not wrong to prepare for bad things to happen even if you don't expect them to. I don't expect my condo to burn down, but I have fire insurance." Continuing the metaphor, House replies, "If your condo rules don't let you buy insurance, would you go homeless?" Later, Cameron tells Chase that she doesn't want to be homeless. She clarifies by saying that she wants to marry Chase.

Answer: pancreatic cancer

House is curious about the soreness around Eugene's abdomen. Eugene says, "At 86, what isn't sore? Soreness is less important than squawking. It's the squawking that was bothering my wife." House replies, "That's not a potbelly. It's a tumor. That's why pancreatic cancer was on my mind."

Answer: his deodorant

As it happens, the specially ordered deodorant that Scott uses contains a high degree of propylene glycol which has induced a toxic reaction. The toxic reaction has caused all of Scott's symptoms.

In a final misguided attempt to anger Cuddy, House tells an audience of hospital personnel that he had intimate relations with Cuddy. Dr. Cuddy is understandably enraged and fires House. In an attempt to make sense of it all, House tries to reason with Cuddy.

However, House is seriously ill. House's entire illusion is shattered when he retrieves a bottle of Vicodin from his pocket. Cuddy is compassionate and enlists the aid of Wilson. Wilson escorts House to a rehabilitation facility.
