    Belize. The Blue Hole is not for the weak hearted. The entrance is at about 110 feet deep; deeper than recommended for the recreational diver. Belize also has the second longest barrier reef in the world, only behind the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Made famous by Charles Darwin, which islands off Ecuador are home to many large pelagic creatures, including whales, sharks, rays, sea lions and even swimming iguanas?
    Galapagos Islands. The Galapagos is ranked among the best in the world when it comes to big animal diving. The schools of hammerhead sharks gather in the hundreds at times.

Truk Lagoon, a location known for its large amount of shipwrecks (mostly casualties of battle from the Second World War), has around 50 different wrecks, many of which still containing live munitions. What sub region of Oceania contains the small island of Truk?
    Micronesia. Truk Lagoon (also known as "Chuuk") was the site of 2 different U.S. bombings that sank most of these ships. You can dive these wrecks but don't take souvenirs. These ships still contain aviation fuel, gasoline, oils, and acids. Also, explosives, shells, mines, and torpedoes are still found live.

Located in the Rangiroa Atoll, Tiputa Pass is home to black-tip, white-tip, lemon, nurse sharks and approximately 500 grey reef sharks at any one time. What southern Pacific island is home to this dive site?
    Tahiti. Please find some pictures of this dive site to truly understand why shark lovers come from all over to dive Tiputa Pass. The visibility can reach 150 feet and the water a constant 80 degrees.

This coral reef is located off South Africa at the meeting point of the Benguela current and Agulhas current. It is named after a sunken three-masted vessel. Also, a good site to locate the “ragged tooth” shark.
    Aliwal Shoal. Ragged Tooth sharks are also known as sand tigers. Aliwal Shoal is also home to the Tiger Shark, Grey Reef Sharks, White Tip Sharks, and Indian Ocean Nurse Sharks.

This Caribbean Island is home to the famous “Stingray City”, where you can get a “hickie” while feeding the very hungry rays straight out of your hand.
    Grand Cayman Island. Another one of the beautiful Cayman Islands. Grand Cayman is the main island of the 3. The stingrays will actually give you hickies while trying to suck in as much food as possible.

Virtually undisturbed by humans, this island also known as “Kiritimati” is the largest coral atoll in the world at 248 square miles (125 square miles being land) and is located in the Indian Ocean.
    Christmas Island. Very secluded island, only able to dive it from a live aboard boat. This island was discovered on Christmas Day in 1643 by Capt. William Mynors.

    Key Largo. Key Largo is the northernmost island of the Florida Keys. The Keys have the only living coral barrier reef in North America.
