Special Sub-Topic: The Brownlow Medal

Who was the first player to win two Brownlow medals?

Ivor Warne-Smith. Some may argue this and say it was Haydn Bunton (Fitzroy), as he was the first to win consecutive Brownlows in 1931/32. But Ivor Warne-Smith (Melbourne) was the first to have two medals next to his name. He won in 1926 and 1928.

Before Robert Harvey (Sty. Kilda) won it in 1997 and 1998, who was the last player to win consecutive medals?
Keith Greig & Greig. A Kangaroo champ. Winner in 1973 and 1974.

Name the player with the odd name who won the 1933 Brownlow?
Chicken Smallhorn & Smallhorn. He played for Fitroy.

During the 1950s and 1960s two players have tied the Brownlow one year and the won it out-right the next (one tied in the 1950s and the other in the 1960s). Who are these two players?
Hutchison & Stewart. Bill Hutchison (Essendon) and Ian Stewart (St. Kilda). Hutchison tied in 1952 with Roy Wright (Richmond) and won it in 1953 .. Wright won it outright in 1954! Stewart tied in 1965 with Noel Teasdale (NOrth Melbourne) and won it in 1966 .. and again in 1971.

In which of the following years did the Brownlow see three men tie for the medal?
1930. Some may say 1996 (when Michael Voss of Brisbane and James Hird of Essndon tied), but Corey McKernan didn't take home a medal! In 1930 Stan Judkins (Richmond), Allan Hopkins (Footscray) and Henry Collier (Collingwood) all went home successful.
