The two main characters in this book are Digory Kirke and Polly Plummer. Shortly after becoming friends, they find a way into other people's houses. They accidentally venture into Digory's house and meet his uncle Andrew. He sends the two into another world. How did he do it?

Magic rings. Aslan calls children in "The Silver Chair" and "The Last Battle". A giant magical picture brings them out of our world in "The Voyage of the DAWN TREADER". A magical closet, also called a wardrobe, brings them into Narnia in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe".

Where do the kids wind up after they first put on the rings?

A forest that leads into other worlds. Narnia is not in this book until much later. Charn is the next place they enter. Archenland is not in this book at all.

After entering a new world called Charn, they enter a castle ruled by Queen ___.

Jadis. In future books, she is referred to as the White Witch. She knew a word that could kill anything and used it on her own world.

After the children leave Charn, and accidentally bring the Queen with them to London, Uncle Andrew is very displeased about this.

f. He is actually quite pleased to see someone else who knows about magic. He becomes her slave for a short time as well. This leads to quite a bit of chaos.

After everything that happened in England with the Queen, they try to get her back into her own world. Unfortunately, they do not enter Charn, but Narnia. When they arrive, it is in the process of being created by whom?

Aslan. Aslan uses a song to create it. His father is never seen in any of the books, but he is mentioned quite often. The queen, Uncle Andrew, Digory, Polly, and a cabby and his horse witness Narnia's creation.

After the creation of Narnia, Aslan turns several animals into talking animals. One of them is a horse named Strawberry that came from our world. What name does Aslan give Strawberry, who is now a winged horse?

Fledge. Pegasus is a winged horse from Greek mythology. The cabby and his wife almost immediately become the King and Queen of Narnia. They had several descendants who are critically important in future books.

After finding out that an evil has just entered the new Narnia, Aslan makes Digory and Polly find a magic apple to shield Narnia from the Queen. In the garden where the apple was grown, Digory encounters the Queen. She tempts him to take an apple for himself. Which is not an attempt she made to tempt him?

Says it won't work and that Aslan lied about what it would do. It was the remark about Polly that was her undoing. She did not know that Polly could leave by herself. Aslan later does what he said he would do and shields Narnia.

After a magic apple tree grows, does Digory take one home for his sick mom?

y. Aslan gives him permission to take one, and sends him home. After his mom eats the apple, she gets better. Then Digory buries the rings and the core of the apple.

The magic apple core that Digory buries soon grew into a tree. After it fell down, what did Digory do with its wood?

Made it into a wardrobe. It is the same wardrobe from "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". He acquired the mansion after his great-uncle died. It said in the book that he did not even want to burn the remains of the tree.

What will later become the name given to Queen Jadis?

The White Witch & Witch & White Witch. It is pretty much the only name she is referred to by in "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe". Thank you for playing my quiz and look forward to future installments.
