Special Sub-Topic: "The Thanksgiving Song"

What was the audience doing that was messing his head up (in the live recorded version)?

clapping. He appreciated it, but he was trying to remember the next line and all he could hear was clapping.

"Turkey for me, turkey for you, let's eat the turkey in my big brown __________"
shoe. I usually eat turkey in my tennis shoes.

"Love to eat the turkey at the table, I once saw a movie with __________"
Betty Grable. I've never seen a movie with Betty Grable.

"Eat that turkey all night long, 50 million ______ fans can't be wrong."
Elvis. Elvis didn't die on Thanksgiving.

"Turkey lurkey doo and turkey lurky dap, I eat that turkey then I take a ______ "
nap. I think we all do that on Thanksgiving.

"Turkey with gravy and cranberries, can't believe the Mets traded Darryl _____________."
Strawberry. Once considered a potential Hall-of-Famer, he is now battling health and drug problems.

"White meat, dark meat you just can't lose, I fell off my ______ and I got a bruise."
moped. Kids, don't try this at home. Always wear a helmet when riding a bike.

"Turkey in the oven and the buns in the toaster, I'll never take down my ________________ poster."
Cheryl Tieges. Mine was a Farrah Fawcett poster, and yes I took it down long ago.

"Turkey and sweet potato pie, Sammy Davis Jr. only had one _______."
eye. So did Sandy Duncan, but I guess her name didn't fit the rhythm of the song just right.

"Gobble gobble goo and gobble gobble giggle, I wish turkey only cost a _______."
nickle & nickel. I had to leave out the two funniest lines cause I wasn't sure it would make it past the editors, but I hope you enjoyed the quiz. If you've never heard the song, take a few minutes to hear it and get a chuckle.
