According to I Kings 21:23, God told Jezebel she would be eaten by dogs outside the city walls of Jezreel. God's word came true in 2 Kings 9, when Jehu had Jezebel thrown from a window and dogs attacked her body. Revelation 2:20 referred to Jezebel as an evil woman.

y. Samson was the son of Manoah. Samson's strength was connected to his long hair. One day he met a woman named Delilah while passing through Sorek. Delilah was working with the Philistines to capture Samson. While Samson was with Delilah one night, he told her the truth of his strength so Delilah shaved his hair. Delilah's act made Samson vulnerable to an attack by the Philistines. They blinded Samson and threw him in prison. One day while bored, the Philistines called Samson out to entertain them. Sitting between two pillars, Samson collapsed the building he and the Philistines were in by pushing the pillars down. Samson killed more than three thousand people when he pushed down the building. The action also resulted in Samson's death. He was buried between the cities of Zorah and Eshtaol where his father was also buried.

David. Uriah was a Hittite married to Bathsheba. After David found out that Bathsheba was pregnant with his child, he sent word to Joab, his right hand man, to have Uriah put at the front lines of the battlefield. This, David thought, would ensure Uriah's death. Uriah died and after an appropriate mourning time, Bathsheba went to live with David.

Mordecai. Haman was the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite. Haman worked for King Ahasuerus as his right hand man. Haman hated the Jews who lived in his land, especially a man named Mordecai, so he plotted to have them all killed. One night during a party, King Ahasuerus promised Queen Esther that she could have anything she wanted. After telling her husband that she and her people were going to be executed, the king demanded to know who had made this proclamation. When Queen Esther told him it was Haman that had made the proclamation, King Ahasuerus had Haman hanged on his own gallows.

Their bodies were burned. Achan was the son of Zerah. He had stolen silver and hidden it from Joshua. When Joshua's servants found the silver, they laid it out in front of Joshua. When they died from the stoning, Joshua had their bodies burnt and covered with stones. The place where Achan and his family were buried under stones, the Lord called the Valley of Achor.

In I Chronicles 10, after a bad battle in which many of his men were killed, Saul wanted his armor bearer to kill him, but the armor bearer refused. After the refusal, Saul took it upon himself to take a sword and fall on it. Saul's three sons also died the same day he died. Their heads were hung from the temple of Dagon.

Peter. Ananias was married to Sapphira. Together, the two sold property and gave the money to the apostles. As soon as the money was handed over, Peter chastised Ananias for keeping back some of the money from the sale for him and his wife. Upon hearing this, Ananias collapsed and died.

He became stuck in a tree. Absalom was the third son of David and Maachah. His hair was known to be long and weighed five pounds. While he was riding against his father's men, Absalom's hair became wrapped around a tree branch and he was stuck. One of David's men, Joab, came along, found Absalom hung in the tree, and stabbed him to death. King David had put out a notice earlier in the fighting that Absalom was not to be hurt.

John the Baptist. John the Baptist was the son of Elizabeth and Zechariah. After John the Baptist told King Herod that he should not have married his sister-in-law, Herodias, she became very angry toward John. During King Herod's birthday party, his stepdaughter danced for him. King Herod proclaimed to his stepdaughter that she could have anything she wanted. At her mother's suggestion, King Herod's stepdaughter requested the head of John the Baptist. King Herod was saddened by the request, but had John the Baptist beheaded and his head delivered to his stepdaughter on a platter. John the Baptist was buried by the disciples in a tomb.

The Bible does not say how Gideon died. Gideon was the son of Joash. According to Judges 8, Gideon died in his old age, but the cause of death is not known. Gideon was buried in his father's tomb at Ophrah. Gideon had seventy-one sons, but the only one named in the Bible was Abimelech.
