    Baha Men. The song was originally written and recorded by Anslem Douglas for Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival in 1998. The Baha Men recorded the song for the movie "Rugrats in Paris" and then released it as a single.

This all-girl Canadian band was formed in 1996 by Mercedes Lander and Fallon Bowman.
    Kittie. The alternative-metal band from London, Ontario gained fame with the 1999 release of their album "Spit". Fallon Bowman has since left the band and the current members are Mercedes Lander, her sister Morgan Lander, Trish Doan, and Tara McLeod.

    Three Dog Night. The lyric "Jeremiah was a bullfrog" comes from the song "Joy to the World". It was first released by Three Dog Night on their 1971 album "Naturally", and was later included on five more albums, including three "best of" albums.

    Honky Cat. "Honky Cat" is an Elton John song featured on his 1972 album "Honky Chateau". The lyrics were written by Bernie Taupin.

    Black Sabbath. "Hair of the Dog" was recorded by Nazareth on the album of the same name in 1975. The song was covered by Guns 'N Roses in 1993 on the album "The Spaghetti Incident". The Ramones' "Hair of the Dog" is a completely different song and was on their 1986 album "Animal Boy". "Hair of the dog that bit you" is a colloquial term that means drinking more alcohol to cure a hangover. The Ramones song is blantantly about that technique.

    The Smashing Pumpkins. The album was a double-CD set, and triple-LP in vinyl format. "Time" magazine named it the best album of 1995. In 1998, it was ranked as the 29th greatest album of all-time by "Q" magazine, but in 2003, the album was only number 487 on "Rolling Stone"'s "500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

    Smelly Cat. Phoebe first sang "Smelly Cat" in the second season episode "The One With the Baby on the Bus". In a later episode, "The One With Joey's Bag", it was revealed that Phoebe's father wrote her a lullably when she was an infant, entitled "Sleepy Girl", which used the same melody as "Smelly Cat".
