Fun Trivia: S : Star Trek: Voyager

Special Sub-Topic: U.S.S. Voyager NCC-74656

Voyager is an Intrepid-class Federation starship.

    t. Voyager was, at the time, one of the fastest and most powerful ships in Starfleet.

What is Voyager's maximum cruising velocity?
warp 9.975. This was first stated by Lieutenant Stadi as she and Tom Paris were approaching Voyager in "The Caretaker, Part 1".

Voyager has an enhanced computer system, equipped with bio-neural gel packs.
    t. It is stated multiple times throughout the series that the bio-neural gel packs speed up command processing times.

What is the name of the long-range scouting vessel that was constructed by the Voyager crew?
Delta Flyer. The Delta Flyer was a hybrid design that used a combination of Starfleet and Borg technology.

What types of torpedoes was Voyager equipped with in "Endgame, Part 2"?
photon and transphasic. The Voyager crew was given transphasic torpedoes by the "future" Admiral Janeway.

Voyager was equipped with anti-Borg armor.
    t. The armor was also given to the Voyager crew by the "future" Admiral Janeway. It could be deployed by the computer by the command of the captain.

Did Voyager have an enhanced impulse drive?
    n. The Delta Flyer did, but Voyager was stuck with a standard Starfleet impulse drive (albeit faster than older models).

In which episode do we see Voyager before its maiden voyage?
    Relativity.

What is Voyager's approximate maximum crew capacity?
200 people. Since this is a multiple-choice question, it is really more of a question of logic. The choices are: 200, 150, 1014, and 83. NOW based on LT. Stadi's remarks in the pilot episode (crew complement of 141), 83 makes no sense because there are far more people aboard at that time. The same goes for 1014, as that is the scale of a galaxy class starship. The initial mission Voyager was on was considered to be minor, and as such it is logical to assume that they were not close to 100% capacity, which makes 150 an unlikely choice. For example, if they had a full wartime crew complement, they would not have a hydroponics bay, a galley, and the other indulgances the voyager crew has to make the journey home easier. This leaves the option of 200 to be the only viable choice. Throughout the series, Voyager's crew complement floated around 150.

What is the estimated minimum crew complement that Voyager requires?
    100. This was Chakotay's own estimate in the episode "The 37's".
