    ebrious. PIXILATED, 'touched by the pixies,' is a real word meaning 'mentally unbalanced.' BAMBOOZLED is a real word meaning 'confused.' BANJAXED is a real (Irish-English) word meaning 'destroyed,' which could mean 'intoxicated' but not 'inclined to drink wine.'

The state of drunkenness.
    oenophlygia. FARCTATIA is a fake word based on a word meaning 'having over-eaten.' OINOBRILIA is a fake word containing a Greek root meaning 'wine.' SAPONACIA is a fake word based on a real word meaning 'soapy.'

Forty English gallons of wine.
    awm. QUARE is a real word in some dialects of English; a variant of 'queer.' THULE is a real word which has meant 'the northernmost habitable place' since at least Medieval times. KEGGLE is fake, based on the word 'keg.'

To distill, as in the production of brandy.
    dephlegmate. PERENDINATE is a real word roughly meaning 'to delay.' IRRUMATIZE is fake, based on a Latin word for urination. TEREBRATIZE is fake, based on a word referring to the pain causedby being drilled.

Obsessive appreciation of alcohol.
    dipsomania. EBRIOPHILIA is fake but would mean 'appreciation of drunkenness' if it were real. OINOMOSITY is fake and contains a Greek root meaning 'wine.' ZYGOPLASTICITY is fake based on Greek roots meaning 'joined' and 'malleable.'

Being full of beer.
    gambrinous. Legendary Flemish king Gambrinus is the patron saint of brewers, and is reputed to have invented hopped malt beer. ALEGAR is a real word, meaning a 'product made from soured ale.' ZYMOPLETE is fake, based on Greek and Latin roots relating to 'fermentation' and 'fullness.' DIPSIPOTENT is fake, based on Greek roots meaning 'thirst' and 'powerful.'

A collector of beer bottles.
    labeorphilist. FLASCHOPHILIST is fake, and would be a bad coining for 'collector of bottles' because it would add a Germanic root for bottle to the Greek root used here to mean 'lover of.' VERROPHILIST is fake, and would be a bad coining for 'collector of bottles' because it would add a Romance root for glass to the Greek root used here to mean 'lover of.' VINOPHILIST is fake, and would be a bad coining for 'collector of bottles' because it would add a Latin root for wine to the Greek root used here to mean 'lover of.'

Exceptionally strong beer.
    nippitatum. POTIPOTABLE is a ridiculous fake, a portmanteau of 'potent potable.' ALESSENCE is a transparent fake, a portmanteau of 'ale essence.' MEGALOINIA is an absurd fake, based on Greek roots for 'big' and 'wine.'

The study of fermentation.
    zymology. SAPROLOGY is fake, but could be coined to mean 'the study of decay.' ONEIROLOGY is (probably) fake, but could be coined to mean 'the study of dreams.' VINOLOGY is fake, but could be coined to mean 'the study of grapes or wine.'

A brewery.
    zythepsary. BIERHAUS would be German for 'a place beer is served;' German for brewery is actually the close cognate 'Brauerei.' ALITORIUM is fake, being a mishmash of Old Norse and Latin roots. for 'ale' and 'room.' CERVEZERY is fake, but would be a cognate for the Spanish word for brewery (cerveceria) if it were real.
