Forgotten Gems Shadowman game quiz
"Another gem dusted off from my collection of forgotten games is "Shadowman" for the Playstation 1, Nintendo 64, and Sega Dreamcast. An epic game such as this deserves to be recognized, not forgotten!"

15 Points Per Correct Answer - No time limit

1. The very first scene of the game took place in the sewers of England in 1888. There, "Jack the Ripper" was writing his memoirs on how he searched for the souls hidden within the women he murdered. A man named Legion interrupted him and told him that dark souls were the only one's that could ever be seen. Legion wanted Jack to build him a cathedral in his domain. What was the catch?
Jack would have to kill the Shadowman.
Jack's soul would belong to Legion.
Jack would have to kill himself in order to build the cathedral.
    There was no catch.

2. After the Jack the Ripper opening sequence, the scene shifted to modern-day Louisiana. There, a voodoo priestess named Mama Nettie saw a darkness approaching. Five men were highlighted as the bringers of the apocalypse. Naturally, the Shadowman had to stop them. What was the Shadowman's real name?
    Victor Batrachian
    Milton Pike
    Jaunty
    Michael LeRoi

3. When the player first hit Deadside, they were met with a few weak zombies and the gatekeeper, Jaunty. What were the gates to Deadside made of?
    Reinforced steel
Nothing, the problem was that the gate had been destroyed
    Soul energy
    Giant bones

4. Entering Deadside, the Shadowman encountered countless enemies, and even doors requiring dark souls to open. Generally, the dark souls were hidden in special containers. What was required to open them?
    A powerful voodoo priest
    Legion's blood
    A special key
    Shadowman's shadow-gun

5. After battling through hordes of enemies in Deadside, the Shadowman reached the Asylum. The Asylum was the bridge between Liveside and Deadside. Using a special key, players could teleport to different locations and battle the five bringers of the apocalypse. Three out of the five were located in Texas. Where exactly were they located?
    In a prison
    In a run-down apartment building
    In a sewer system
    A crocodile ranch

6. After killing the three men in Texas, Shadowman's next mission was to kill the two remaining enemies. One was a psychopathic murderer, located in New York, who killed his own mother. Who was the other?
    Legion
    Jack the Ripper
    Thomas Deacon
    Luke LeRoi

7. Apparently, Luke LeRoi was still around, roaming the plains of Deadside. After shutting down the dark engine and essentially foiling Legion's plot, Michael finally caught up to his brother. Something was horribly wrong with him, however. What was wrong with Luke LeRoi?
He had taken in one of the dark souls and become an evil creature.
He was missing limbs and horribly disfigured.
He was Legion using Luke's appearance as a disguise.
Nothing, he was the same cheerful little boy he had always been.

8. The game had two possible endings. One occurred if the player defeated Legion and the other occurred if the player was defeated by Legion. If the failure ending occurred, what happened to the Shadowman?
Nothing. No cinematic occurred, just the ability to restart the battle by loading an old save.
He was enslaved by Legion to carry out his doom plot.
He was stabbed by Legion and the power of his dark souls reactivated the dark engine and destroyed Liveside.
He was simply killed by Legion and that was that.

9. Believe it or not, there were some cheats in the game. Although rather useless, they were pretty fun. How could the cheats be unlocked?
By collecting all 120 dark souls.
By typing in a special code at one point in the game.
By beating the game in less than 30 hours.
By walking over special trigger points located throughout the game world.
