Those flightless birds only live in the Southern Hemisphere. The other animals in the question don't live in Antarctica.

All of these are real glaciers (the four largest glaciers on the continent, in fact).

The Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen reached the South Pole in December 1911. Using skis and dog sleds, all the men returned safely. The British Robert F. Scott reached the Pole 5 weeks after Amundsen had. Tragically, Scott and all his men died on the return journey.
10. The eastern highlands of Antarctica recorded a new low in temperatures in 2010. How cold did it get?

Answer: -135.8 degrees F
