My avatar picture is of Yaar Biriah is a forest in the upper Galilee near the ancient mystical town of Tsfat (Safed). It has always been one of our favourite places for camping. The Blog pic is of the Mir Forest just north of Jerusalem, Israel, the main location of my observations in the blog.
