The Green Bay Packers are an NFL team based in the city of Green Bay in Wisconsin. The Packers are unique amongst major US sports teams as they are a non-profit club which is owned by the community. The team was founded in 1919 and joined the NFL in 1921. The Packers won the inaugural Super Bowl in 1966 when they beat the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10.

Green Day are an American rock band formed in California in 1987. They were originally known by other names before settling on the name Green Day in 1989. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist and backing vocalist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool.

Originally the drummer was John Kiffmeyer who was replaced with Cool in 1990. The band have released many albums over the years and their 2004 album 'American Idiot' was made into a Broadway musical in 2010.
