Answer: Denise Vasi

Vasi originated the part of Randi on "AMC" in May of 2008. Before she arrived at "AMC", Vasi had roles in the TV movies, "Exposing the Order of the Serpentine" and "White Collar." She also guest starred on "Law and Order: Criminal Intent." Her role as Randi on "AMC" is her first on a daytime soap opera.

Answer: Brooklyn

Even though Vasi was born in Manhattan, she grew up in Brooklyn. Vasi is of Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Greek heritage. Before she ventured into acting, she had a career in modeling and studied at Long Island University.

Answer: Pine Valley Hospital

We first saw Randi when Frankie treated her at the hospital after she was beaten. Frankie gave her advice but Randi was rather cold to him. When Frankie left her room to help someone else, he came back to Randi's room and saw she had disappeared. Frankie, eventually, found out Randi was a prostitute but he still fell in love with her.

All of Pine Valley went to ConFusion in September of 2008 since Fusion held a party there to launch their new fragrance, Bella. It was at this party that Randi's pimp, Fletcher, harassed her and then started to attack her. Taylor saw what happened and rushed over to help Randi. She killed Fletcher and the police ruled it was in self defense.

Answer: Foster sisters

We learned, in late 2008, that Carmen and Randi grew up together in the same foster care home when Carmen recognized Randi. They never got along as foster siblings but have remained civil towards each other in Pine Valley. Randi was placed in foster care after her mother passed away (for more, see question nine).

Randi admitted, once, that she used to work as a waitress. However, this has not been mentioned a whole lot. Once Frankie got Randi out of the prostitute's life, she was hired to work at Fusion.

Answer: Donna Beck Tyler

Randi and Donna Beck Tyler share a lot of similarities since they both have pasts as hookers but managed to get out of that lifestyle once they found love (Randi with Frankie Hubbard and Donna with Chuck Tyler). Both characters were billed as hookers with hearts of gold. Donna's pimp was a man named Tyrone and she had a lot of interaction with another pimp named Billy Clyde Tuggle, one of the show's most popular villains.

Answer: Center City

Right around the first time Randi met Frankie, she told him that she lived in Center City right before she came to Pine Valley. Corinth was where the canceled ABC soap opera, "Loving", took place. Center City is located approximately one hour from both Pine Valley and Llanview (Llanview is where the ABC soap opera, "One Life To Live", takes place).

Randi's mother died of cancer when Randi was a little girl. Randi has not mentioned this a whole lot since she had a rough childhood and would like to forget about that time period. Another "AMC" character that died of cancer was Mona Kane back in 1994 (Mona died of lung cancer. Her portrayer, Frances Heflin, died of the same disease in real life in 1994).

Erica took charge of Fusion after the tornadoes destroyed Pine Valley and left her daughter, Kendall, in a coma. Kendall gave Erica proxy so Erica became a temporary owner in Fusion. She decided to kick off a new campaign and that was when she named Randi as The Face of Fusion. Erica removed her as The Face of Fusion when Greenlee spotted nude pictures of Randi floating around the Internet and informed Erica of this.
